Awesome vacation

This was our second time staying at this cabin. Was even more enjoyable as the first! John was very helpful with everything. Fishing was great also! Highly recommend!!

Relaxing and comfortable

Beautiful home on a quiet lake. The home has everything you may need and a pontoon to take a cruise! We caught some nice bluegill and crappies!

Very nice cabin

The cabin was very nice and as shown in the pictures. The deck looking over the lake was simply beautiful both in the morning and evening. The fire pit area wasn’t the best since the shrubs and trees were very close and didn’t leave much space between the fire and seating. In addition it was on hill so you couldn’t really sit on the other side of the pit. Just below the pit was a felled tree and some other items it looked like they were cleaning/clearing out and looked unkept and because of that I would be worried about kids and dogs since some of the planks seemed to have nails sticking out. It was our first time in Mercer during the summer months and it was very quite and relaxing. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Another great stay in Mercer!!

Our stay at Lake Tahoe resort was wonderful!! Cabin was perfect with plenty of space and great open floor plan for family entertaining! Looking forward to many more family vacations in Mercer! We highly recommend this wonderful cabin!

Long weekend getaway

Very pleased with the stay! Property was found to be exactly as described. Property was well kept and very clean...very beautiful inside with a great view of the lake. It was easily located and close (but not to close) to town and the UTV trails that we utilized during our stay. As mentioned already...we were very pleased with our stay!

Quiet and Clean

We enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the cabin is beautiful too. John was easy to get ahold of and was very responsive. Kitchen was well stocked. Only suggestion would be a new mattress in the downstairs bedroom without the patio doors. I would highly recommend staying.

Great Northwoods Experience!

First, John is an amazing host. Very attentive to calls/texts on any questions you may have about the property. He’s an absolute pleasure to work with. The house itself is beautiful. Very close to snowmobile trails, and equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Thank you for allowing our group to stay with you!

Great spot in the northwoods

Excellent stay! Great cabin and location for our getaway. Host was quick with communcation and the property is just as described in the listing. Only regret is we didn't stay longer. Highly recommend!

Great cabin

We had a great time! Cabin is beautiful! We used the canoe and paddle boat quite a bit so that worked out great! The space around fire pit was only downfall but we made it work. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!!

Sweet surprise

This was truly a hidden gem for our vacation. The place was clean and the view from the living room and deck was lovely. A truly relaxing quiet retreat with all the amenities we needed.

Lake Tahoe Cabin

We had a very nice week. The cabin is very nice inside. Could use some carpet on the steps of the spiral staircase as these were slippery for our dog. Also the outdoor space could be improved with some lawn mowing to offer a place to sit for fires. There was not enough room for the 6 of us to comfortably sit around the fire pit. Everything else we loved and would definitely rent this space again in the future.

Beautiful home and quiet lake

We had a lovely week at John’s cabin. The actual house was beautiful and well-equipped. There were plenty of towels, paper products, spices, utensils, etc. I think the only thing missing that we needed was a spatula for flipping pancakes! The rooms were large. As an added bonus, there is a room off the kitchen with a door. We didn’t realize this from the pictures. While there is no bed, it is perfect for a pack n play or blow up mattress if you’re traveling with small children (which we were). The deck had great views and there were plenty of chairs (there are lots of plastic Adirondack chairs not pictured in the listing). We didn’t use the fire pit. It was pretty buggy and there wasn’t a ton of space to sit around it, but no big deal for us. There was plenty of firewood. It would be cool if they had one of those electric fire tables on the deck! That’s a big ask and not really realistic, but it would be sweet! The boats/kayaks were great. There is a pontoon for rental. We didn’t end up using it, but it was really nice to have it tied to the dock. The dock doesn’t really have anywhere to sit, so we used the pontoon for sitting and relaxing. It would be difficult to sit by the water otherwise. On that note, if swimming is important to you, then be aware that swimming isn’t easy from the dock. The shore is weedy/muddy and surrounded in tall grasses, so you have to jump from the dock. We used the pontoon ladder to get out because the dock doesn’t have a ladder. If you like fishing, this was a great property! We caught lots of bluegill and even a 2.5 foot northern pike right off the dock! Overall, I certainly recommend this property. It was really great for adults. It is not as great for small children since the water isn’t easy to access and there isn’t flat outdoor grassy space they can play. But that is a pretty specific need!

Great snowmobile cabin
