“The property, though older, has been well maintained and was spotless. There was plenty of space, and the view out the huge picture window over the water was spectacular. Communication with the host was great, and Michelle was so kind, especially when we couldn't get the door opened the first time. “We have stayed several times in the UP and this was our favorite property. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we saw several deer walking around and an old sweet black lab that walks around the block. Host is always available and you can communicate with him at any time. The internet is very good for any remote workers or gamers, you will be just fine. We were able to DoorDash meals which was such a convenience, as we own a restaurant and didn’t want to have to cook. But if you do want to,……

“This is our 2nd stay at this property, and we intend to come back again and again. It is a short drive from family so we enjoy staying here to have quiet time alone, but be able to visit them easily. The house is well equipped and a cozy get away to forget about the regular day to day.”

There were also a lot of burnt out lightbulbs. Lastly neither of the doors leading to the waterfront lock.”

“Loved our getaway up north. We rented a boat from a resort nearby and spent lots of time enjoying the water. We had one problem the first evening, and the hosts were very responsive and took care of the issue in a timely manner. The upstairs shower needs some attention because the hot and cold water tabs are reversed. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend you give it a try.”

“Several friends and I visit the Northwoods once a year around this time for a weekend of ATV trail riding. We've stayed at a few locations and always had good luck. This location was no different. Plenty of room (inside & out), comfortable furnishings and bedding, great location (across from gas station & on the trail), and lots of little touches. I highly recommend staying here and will likely do so again myself!”

“The house was fantastic. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the trip! Only thing that could have been a bit better was the bedroom on the lake side and the bunk room (especially the bunk room) were pretty cold. Regardless of that though we had a great time!”

“This is a corporate property and it shows. It's obvious that there is no one that cares about this place. I've stayed at many VRBOs all around the country and this place was the saddest by far. It's like someone furnished it by spending one day shopping at rummage sales. Beds are fine for kids but not too many adults will find them comfortable. Couch needs to be thrown out just be sure to not look under it because it's gross. There were dishes and silverware in the cabinets that maybe had been……

“It was wonderfully different I understand it is a cabin / home but to have mouse droppings in the drawers is not good.”

“This was our second stay at this location and the first time we stayed after the remodel. We liked everything and really enjoyed the kitchen upgrade it was perfect for cooking. Our only con was we were traveling with 2 elderly people and the couch was too low and too hard to get out of it would be nice to have a recliner in the upstairs living room.”

“Cozy comfortable home to stay at while visiting Ironwood! Perfect for families and for bringing your pups along with! We decided to take a last minute trip up and Jen was amazing with providing recommendations and ensuring the house was clean and ready for our overnight stay. “We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up.”
