The room was dead bolted from the outside and I wasn’t told that I needed to go through the hallway first in order to be able to access the room from the courtyard. The hotel is very outdated but clean. It kind of adds to the “charm” in a way but some people might not like that.」

I informed them that we were traveling with a cat. However, they informed me that the hotel did not permit cats and only dogs were allowed. 「Had no working ac and had to deal with the makeshift maintenance guy that was tweaking on meth (literally watched him whip out a meth pipe in the lobby and light it up) to come in and tap on the ac unit and give up. There was a little bit of a discount for the inconvenience but when we asked about changing rooms we were told it would be an additional $50 because we had dogs. Unfortunately everyone else was booked for the weekend so we just suffered with the room we had.」
