"Antoine gave us a warm welcome and carried our bags up two storeys. The house if full of character and we enjoyed sitting in the garden watching the chickens. In the morning Antoine served us a delicious breakfast with fresh eggs and apples from the garden."

"Amazing stay from start to finish. The staff was absolutely awesome—friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my entire stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The location is fantastic, especially if you’re visiting Normandy to see the D-Day sites. Everything I wanted to visit was easily accessible from the hotel. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Hotel Le Sainte Mère and will definitely be back soon. Five stars all the way!"

"Nous avons passé de très belles vacances à La Fosse aux Loups à Cartigny-l’Épinay. Un cadre idyllique, calme et reposant, parfait pour se ressourcer. Le logement est vraiment agréable et très bien entretenu. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et l’accueil des hôtes, qui sont adorables et très attentionnés.Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour passer un séjour au calme et profiter d’un cadre magnifique. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! "

"l'hébergement à totalement répondu à notre attente, c'est à dire la recherche d'un endroit calme ou se ressourcer. nous avons étés très bien accueilli par les propriétaires, qui sont agréables et disponibles. Le petit plus..... : l'isolation thermique grâce aux murs bien larges durant cette période de canicule fut d'un grand luxe!!!"

"A well stocked house with everything you need from beach towels, toys and picnic plates & cups to tumble drier, dishwasher and washing machine! Everything has been thought of and provided. We have just returned from 12 wonderfully relaxing days at this house and will definitely return. We wandered the coastline, watched the world go by through the window and explored on foot, there was always something to see and do. We liked that we didn’t need to be in the car everyday! We loved the history and the importance of Omaha Beach and it was interesting to explore the local area and its significance in World War 2 too. Our grandchildren loved that we were just across the road from the sandy beach and we spent every day there. They loved the rock pool directly opposite, finding crabs and splashing about safely in the water pools that form when the tide went out. They had lots of freedom and fun. The tiny coci-market shop in the village was useful but we travelled back to the large supermarkets in Bayeux for bulk shopping once or twice. Our hosts were responsive and informative. It was great that they showed us around on arrival. It was a shame that the washing machine on the kitchen level wasn’t working as it meant lugging washing up and down the basement stairs. The TV wasn’t working either but it didn’t bother us. These were minor issues that weren’t a problem - we were there for beach fun and exploring and we got that in bucket loads as we hoped "
