「Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. To the left of the front door on the porch sat a styrofoam cooler, lid to the side and a bag of garbage in it. Inside the house seemed reasonably clean but by the time we visited each room we had killed two scorpions. Out back by the lakeside the nice grass that is portrayed in the listing appears to have not been mowed this year and had sticker burrs

「We had a wonderful time with our stay. We were visiting family in Waco so the Doe's Hideaway was far enough away from Waco to enjoy relaxation after a busy day. The stay was in the middle of a severe storm but the stay in the Doe's Hideaway was cozy and peaceful when storms were all around. The Doe's Hideaway will be our home away from home when we are visiting the Waco area.」

「Celebrating Mom’s 90th birthday. She lives on Richland-Chambers Lake. Her house is small and I wanted a second location to host my family. The property is beautiful and private. The main living area is open with plenty of space for gathering and dining. Kitchen is well equipped. Large deck off living space. Large bunk room and game room downstairs as well. Upstairs bedrooms were nice with King size beds. My family members are 30 but this would be a great place for younger kids, especially teens...

「3 pre-teens enjoyed floating and hanging out in the cove. Paddle boat was a PLUS! 1 year old loved hanging out on the secured fenced in patio. Great decking for no splinters for wet feet. Definitely recommend! Owners were accessible with all our needs. 」
