• Inflatable queen mattress available by request (max 6 guests total)
• Base rate includes 4 guests; $40/night for each guest beyond 4 to cover added linens & cleaning

We’re excited to welcome you to Casa del Mar Retreat! To ensure everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing stay, please take a moment to review our updated house rules:

🎉 No Parties or Events
• This is a relaxing retreat — not a party pad
• No parties, events, or loud gatherings allowed
• Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM (please respect our neighbors)
• Violations may result in cancellation and fees

🚭 No Smoking Indoors
• No smoking or vaping indoors
• You may smoke on the balcony only, with the door closed
• Please dispose of butts properly — let’s keep it fresh 🌿
• Evidence of indoor smoking = $350 cleaning fee

🐾 Pets Welcome — With Love
• Well-behaved pets are welcome with a $75 per stay for 1 pet | $100 per stay for 2 pets (max 2)
• Pets must be declared at booking (type and number required)
• Well-behaved dogs or cats only — no aggressive or destructive pets
• Service animals welcome under ADA guidelines (guests are still liable for damages)
• Excessive shedding, odors, or pet-related messes may result in additional cleaning fees

👥 Guest Limit
• The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 guests, with an optional air mattress available for up to 2 additional guests (max 6).
• $30 per night, per extra guest after 4 — to help cover added linens, utilities, and cleaning
• No unregistered overnight guests

🚗 Parking
• 1 free reserved parking spot onsite
(Marked `Reserved Parking #2` — green sign near the tree)
• Vehicle make, model, year, and color required for proper use
• Free street parking available along NW 10th Ave for additional vehicles
• All other onsite spots belong to residents — unauthorized use may result in a $45 violation fee

🧼 Cleaning & Fees
• $115 standard cleaning fee included in nightly rate
• Short stays (1–2 nights): $90–$95, based on guest count
• Excessive mess (spills, stained linens, pet accidents, strong odors, excess trash) may incur extra deep cleaning charges
• Damaged linens (e.g., makeup, burns, bodily fluids) may incur replacement fees
• Evidence of smoking indoors = $350 minimum cleaning fee

🧹 Clean & Respectful Use
• Treat the space as you would your own.
• Treat the space kindly — avoid spills, stains, or damages that might require deep cleaning.
• Please do not access or tamper with the owner’s closet or cabinets.
• We provide clean linens for the number of guests listed on your reservation.
• Please do not use or open any additional linens stored in janitorial bags, as these are reserved for upcoming turnovers. If accessed or used, an additional cleaning fee may apply since all linens would need to be rewashed.
• Please do not move or rearrange furniture — this helps us keep the space safe and ready for future guests. Any damage or re-staging may result in an additional fee.

⚠️ Important Notes
• No garbage disposal — do not put food down the sink
• $75 fee if sink clogs due to misuse

👶 Baby & Toddler Gear (Available Upon Request)
• Crib, high chair, and other baby/kid essentials available via trusted 3rd-party provider
• Please request in advance to ensure availability
• Fees may apply

🕒 Check-In & Check-Out
• Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Early check-in: from 1:30 PM for $30; earlier for $50 (subject to availability)
• Late check-out: must be pre-approved — unapproved departures will result in $35 late fee + $25 violation fee every 30 minutes past checkout

📦 Deliveries & Belongings
• We are not responsible for packages, deliveries, or personal items left at the property during or after your stay.

🚪 Accessibility & Liability
• One flight of exterior stairs is required to access the unit
• The apartment is not wheelchair accessible
• Guests assume full responsibility for using stairs, balconies, and all areas of the property
• Casa del Mar Retreat, its cleaners, and unit/property/building are not liable for injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies during your stay
• All use of the property is at the guest’s own risk
• We are not responsible for damage, loss, or theft involving guest vehicles, whether parked onsite or on the street

🔐 Truvi Guest Screening
✅ Reminder: Truvi guest screening is required prior to check-in.
• If not completed, we reserve the right to cancel your stay
• Guests will be held responsible for any costs incurred from cancellation
