We’re excited to welcome you to Casa del Mar Retreat! To ensure everyone enjoys a safe, relaxing stay, please take a moment to review our house rules:
No Parties or Events • This is a relaxing retreat, not a party pad • No parties, events, or loud gatherings allowed • Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM (please respect our neighbors) • Violations may result in cancellation and fees
No Smoking Indoors • No smoking or vaping indoors • You may smoke on the balcony only, with the door closed • Please dispose of cigarette butts properly • Evidence of indoor smoking will result in a $350 cleaning fee
Pets Welcome — With Care • Well-behaved pets are welcome: $75 per stay for 1 pet or $100 per stay for 2 pets (maximum 2) • Pets must be declared at booking (type and number required) • Dogs or cats only; no aggressive or destructive pets • Service animals are welcome under ADA guidelines (guests remain liable for damages) • Excessive shedding, odors, or pet-related messes may result in additional cleaning fees
Guest Limit • The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 guests, with an optional air mattress available for up to 2 additional guests (maximum 6) • $30 per night, per extra guest after 4 to help cover added linens, utilities, and cleaning • No unregistered overnight guests
Parking • One free reserved parking spot onsite (marked “Reserved Parking #2” with a green sign near the tree) • Vehicle make, model, year, and color are required for proper use • Free street parking available along NW 10th Ave for additional vehicles • All other onsite spots belong to residents; unauthorized use may result in a $45 violation fee
Cleaning & Fees • $115 standard cleaning fee included in the nightly rate • Short stays (1–2 nights): $90–$95, based on guest count • Excessive mess (spills, stained linens, pet accidents, strong odors, excess trash) may incur additional deep cleaning charges • Damaged linens (e.g., makeup, burns, bodily fluids) may incur replacement fees • Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $350 minimum cleaning fee
Clean & Respectful Use • Treat the space as you would your own • Avoid spills, stains, or damages that might require deep cleaning • Do not access or tamper with the owner’s closet or cabinets • We provide clean linens for the number of guests listed on your reservation • Please do not use or open any additional linens stored in janitorial bags, as these are reserved for upcoming turnovers. If accessed or used, an additional cleaning fee may apply since all linens would need to be rewashed • Please do not move or rearrange furniture. This helps us keep the space safe and ready for future guests. Any damage or re-staging may result in an additional fee
Sink & Garbage Disposal • No garbage disposal—do not put food down the sink • A $75 fee will apply if the sink clogs due to misuse
Baby & Toddler Gear (Available Upon Request) • Crib, high chair, and other baby or kid essentials are available via a trusted third-party provider • Please request in advance to ensure availability • Additional fees may apply
Check-In & Check-Out • Check-in: 4:00 PM • Check-out: 11:00 AM • Early check-in: from 1:30 PM for $30; earlier for $50 (subject to availability) • Late check-out must be pre-approved. Unapproved departures will result in a $35 late fee plus a $25 violation fee for every 30 minutes past checkout
Deliveries & Belongings • We are not responsible for packages, deliveries, or personal items left at the property during or after your stay
Fire Safety & Open Flames • For safety reasons, open flames are not allowed. This includes candles, incense, or any flame-producing items anywhere in the unit or on the balcony/patio.
Accessibility & Liability • One flight of exterior stairs is required to access the unit • The apartment is not wheelchair accessible • Guests assume full responsibility for using stairs, balconies, and all areas of the property • Casa del Mar Retreat, its cleaners, and the unit/property/building are not liable for injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies during your stay • All use of the property is at the guest’s own risk • We are not responsible for damage, loss, or theft involving guest vehicles, whether parked onsite or on the street
Emergency Contacts • Police, Fire, or Medical: Dial 911 • For urgent property-related matters, message us directly via the platform
Truvi Guest Screening • Truvi guest screening is required prior to check-in • If not completed, we reserve the right to cancel your stay • Guests will be held responsible for any costs incurred from cancellation • A $25 violation fee will also apply • If you’ve already submitted your screening, thank you—no further action is needed
