Our experience was disappointing overall, though I appreciate that the manager at least made an effort to help.
I was in a wheelchair for 5 of the 7 days due to a medical emergency. My husband was given permission by the manager to park in the limited hotel lot for accessibility, but despite this, we were still repeatedly threatened with towing and tickets—which caused a lot of unnecessary stress during an already difficult time.
Midway through our stay, the manager did relocate us to a different hotel, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, the new location was a clear downgrade: a gentrified motel with loud construction going on for 12 hours a day, every day. It was far less comfortable and certainly not ideal for someone recovering from surgery who needed rest and accessibility.
I appreciate the attempt to help, but this experience overall did not meet the basic expectations for care, communication, or accessibility.
