Run Down, Nothing Spectacular
The place was not very clean in that some of the dishes (which are very few) were dirty, cracked, peeling and old. There were little black bugs, fruit flys?, constantly around the kitchen sink and throughout the house, especially in the bathroom showers. The main toilet is not secure to the floor and wobbles. Food splatter in the drawers and grime on the walls and dresser. The beds were comfy enough, wish there was a little more seating on the balcony. The pictures made the place look way nicer than it actually is. It definitely is in need of an update and does not make you feel "on vacation". Maybe some coffee filters also would have been nice, we ended up skipping coffee in the room and just grabbed some downstairs...luckily we didn't really use the kitchen. Check-in was fairly seemless and building is very secure. There is a lot to do in the area with lots or restaurants and a grocery nearby. The ocean view can't be beat and it was right next to a lovely park.
