“I rarely would give a five star review, this property was so beautiful, beautiful welcoming, and extremely clean. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast every day with a beautiful view of the water & the staff were so friendly and accommodating for all of our needs. A+ for the luxurious towels and amenities. I hope our travels bring us back.”

“If you want to stay where it’s easy access to the visitors center for Colonial Williamsburg, The Woodlands is the perfect place. Very convenient access to everything in the surrounding areas. We have stayed multiple times and will stay again..”

“The hotel was okay. However, the property is a little dated. Also, I didn’t have a sitting chair in the room. Finally, and I have never experienced this before; but there were no cups in the room!”

“This is a no frills, basic hotel room. Expedia has it listed as pet friendly, but it is not. Went up to the first room assigned to me and it was still occupied. Was given a second room and that one was not clean. Third room was acceptable. Inexpensive rates made this stay adequate. As a solo traveler who was only in the room to sleep, it met my basic need of a room.”

“The first room had toilet issues. The second room had food under and around the furniture. The beds were clean as was the bathroom. The key card did not work upon second entry. The staff assisted but seemed more inclined to socialize with each other. The fountain area outside had a very high curb. I tripped and broke my phone. The breakfast was very limited to almost nothing. My sister and I were sad.”

“The staff allowed us to drop our luggage off before check-in so we could go off to do other things and that was nice. The mattress was fairly comfortable and the air conditioning worked fine. Otherwise it was an unpleasant experience. The room was dark and dingy. The furnishings were worn out…the easy chair had stained fabric, the bed sheet had a hole in it, and the handle on the folding door to the bath was missing. The TV produced a message stating that the streaming contract was expired so……

When we first walked in, there was this rather strong, weird smell that really wasn't the welcoming aroma we expected. That was a bit of a shaky start. Then, we tried to use the shower, and discovered the drain was completely blocked up, making it pretty much impossible to shower properly. That……

“The property itself is quite good—newly renovated facilities, a convenient location, and a nice free breakfast. It’s easy to see why it has a 9.0 rating and overall, it’s worth it. However, I was assigned a room right next to the ice machine and emergency exit. I checked in late at night and didn’t realize the potential for noise. Unfortunately, the receptionist didn’t mention anything about it, even though I was traveling with kids. Starting as early as 6 a.m., guests began walking around for……

“The room on the first floor is too small, smelly not nice,clean, all day hot coffee, hot water and ice supply, parking and convenient transportation.”

“Hotel was nice and clean and very close to Busch Gardens (3) minutes, they had a shuttle but we were unaware. Remote control was missing a battery so no television the first night we were too tired to go to the lobby after we settled in for the night. Other than that, the room was clean and we had a good stay.”
