“The cabin was very charming and cozy. I liked all of the decorative touches that made it homey. We loved the wrap-around porch, especially the back one where we spent a lot of time looking out over the grounds and mountains in the distance. The gardens around the house were lovely as well. There were scones, juices, teas, water, and coffees left for us in the kitchen. ”

“This charming cottage was exactly as described, and it was exactly what I needed. Prior to staying here, I would stay at one of the hotels in Leesburg. Never again. “Checkin was easy and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The house is adorable, well furnished and extremely clean. It's just off the main road, but was peaceful and quiet. We saw deer grazing out in the yard one evening.Only two things were less than perfect...the king mattress wasn't comfortable, and the staircase was horrible. I know there isn't much room, but that can't be the only option. ”

“We absolutely loved all the antiques displayed. My friend and I were in our glory looking through the house and all of the antiques. It was a step back in time. We would recommend some nice rockers or good seating for the front porch. We wanted to sit outside and relax when we got there, but it wasn’t really set up on the porch with comfy seating for 4. ”

“Perfect place to stay if you love sitting outside and listening to nature. The propert was clean and comfortable. Easy distance to travel to Gettysburg or DC (we did both.) Overall, as a family of 4, we would love to return if we ever make it back this direction. ”
