「The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located nearby the Chapel of Notre Dame. The lady (the owner) explains us the route in details and later in the evening she helps us to book an extremely nice yet local restaurant nearby. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. 」

The hotel is very basic though there is a kettle and coffee and tea in the bedroom. I would highly recommend adding a bar and a bathmat in the shower as the tub is very slippery and certainly for older or less agile folks it felt dangerous getting in and out and I slipped and banged my knee rather badly. 「We felt very welcome by the young man who received us upon check in. Then everything seemed to be too much trouble for the staff. I was told only one cleaner to clean the hotel. Everything you asked seemed to be asking for a favour. No service at all and definitely not a 4 star. More like an inn than a hotel. Breakfast wasn’t good neither. Only the location. 」

We particularly enjoyed the river view from the balcany. A small problem is that Hotels.com writes parking at €15/night, but the hotel said that was last year's price. They charged us €20 for parking instead. We've reminded them to inform Hotels.com to update this information. As parking fee may affect one's choice of...
