"these rooms are very old nothing has been done since it opened maybe 44 years ago and for the price it should be better the water garden was closed for renovations so the food was available in the Links restaurant and we thought the food was terrible no wonder there was nobody in there not good enough for the price overall will noy stay there again"

"Lovely antique charm without being dingy! Room was well appointed with comfortable beds, a nice shower with great water pressure, and plenty of space to have a cuppa and stretch out. Check in and out was a breeze and staff were open to personalising the experience. Fantastic central location, pack your good shoes and explore inner city Launceston."

"The property is in a fantastic location, only a 5 min walk to the shuttle bus that takes you up the mountain. There are also some lovely walks on the grounds with plenty of wombats, pademelons and possums to be seen. The staff are so helpful and add lovely touches like turning the heater/towel warmer on while you're out for the day and providing chopped wood for the fire. They even gave me chocolates and a card for my birthday! Property is looking a little tired but very clean and tidy. We'd go back again for sure."
