"place was ok, little lack of cleaning. Kitchen utensils were not in very good usable conditions. No tissues in the place. Keys for pool/gym didn't work, although seems that this may be something that owner knew beforehand bc in check in instructions mentioned if they didn't work go to the front desk, which is something not easy to do at Zermatt."

The room itself had a terrible urine type smell we couldnt get rid of even with doors open to air out the room. There was also not enough bedding for the pullout sofa. Hotel itself was great- room not so much."

When we arrived late in the evening and checked in, we discovered that there was no pull out couch. We messaged the host who didn't respond after multiple attempts to reach him until late the next day. Asked for a blow up mattress or a cot to which he completely ignored us for the rest of our stay.
