“This is our 2nd stay at Duncan's Den and it won't be our last! This cabin has everything you would want or need for a relaxing vacation. From the welcome bottle of wine to the well stocked coffee bar, this house has it all! We love to sit on the porch and listen to the creek and watch the horse and buggies go by. My husband caught some nice small mouth bass in the creek. Clean, comfortable and A plus hosts. Thank you, Mary and Bill, for another perfect stay.”

“The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you!”

“Our family had a wonderful at this beautiful log cabin. Very cozy and quiet. We had three children with us and they enjoyed the large front yard and playhouse. The real hit for them was the hot tub! Our host Cory was great. We appreciated his responsiveness and flexibility. I would highly recommend this cabin.”

“Stayed for the weekend. 4 adults, no kids. House was immaculate, beds were comfortable, linens were high-quality, house was well equipped and we ate most of our meals there. House is a little off the beaten path, so you would want to take an SUV to get there, but it’s not so far off the beaten path that you can’t get to restaurants or activities, or that there’s no cell service. “This place is great! Easy check in and check out process. Fish rising to bugs right in the yard. I literally pulled in and within a couple of minutes I was hooked up on a fish. And while nothing is very close out that way, the house is close enough to some good eating and more importantly great fishing. It was the perfect setup for a small group of anglers that spend a few days fishing the central pa region.”

Eventually, the sounds blend into the background but, some users may find this jarring upon arrival. Also, the "air conditions" are evaporative (really just humidifiers) and don't really provide any cooling.”

“We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. A very beautiful setting. No artificial light at night, just the stars. Comfortable, squeaky clean, very well equipped supplies throughout the property. Perfect hot tub in the screen-in porch overlooking the water. The owners, Bill & Mary, made all of the instructions super clear. We hope to be back again!”
