“What I liked is that BW doesn’t allow pets. No barking dogs! It was great! Also the breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable and quiet.”

“Great concept for a hotel. Had to change rooms due to pieces of the ceiling falling everywhere. Room keys stoped working after one time use.”

“The front desk staff was super nice. The room was super run down. Peeling paint everywhere, the carpet felt wet. We had to cover a large metal bracket sticking out of the bed with a pillow so no one would kick it. The TV didn’t work but the front desk lady did come and fix it. Breakfast was just poor quality despite having a variety of food. Poor maintenance in the lobby as well. It wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever stayed but I wouldn’t book it again.”

“We arrived, went to the room and the trashcans were in the middle of the room(no liners). There were no towels or mat. It seemed the mattresses may have been new, however, they were rock hard. When my husband went to get towels, he said they acted as if he was wrong and there were towels. We have stayed here before, but the usual manager was not there this time. I sure wish that they would renovate and make it more aesthetic.”

“The place looks nothing like the pictures. The hotel is very old and does not even have an ice machine. They use a drink cooler and fill it with Ice,( very unsanitary) We had requested a king bed and when we arrived the room had no microwave,which we really wanted . I was told not all king rooms have a microwave,so we had to move to a room with 2 queens. Breakfast consists of muffins and bagels,if you want a warm sausage croissant it costs $4. It is not worth $155 + a night. There are not……

“Everything was good”

“We have stayed here before as we visit relatives in San Angelo twice a year. If you like artsy gardens, art festivals outside your door, artist shops, nice rooms, with good people to meet, or just walking around the garden, this is a this is the place for you. Everybody is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with snacks, coffee, or tea. This is not your typical Holiday Inn or Hilton. We left on a Sunday with no one renting our room that day, so there was no rush at all……

“This was by far one of the WORST hotels/motels I've ever been inside of. My transaction was never refunded and I didnt even stay, because of the infestation of roaches in each room they had attempted to put me in. Every time I'd open the door to a new room, roaches (dead and alive) would be the first thing you'd notice on the floors, walls, and shower curtains. Debris, trash, and dirt surrounding the entire floor. Absolutely unpresentable, extremely filthy, and horrific roach infestation that……

“The room itself was ok for the price but A/C barely worked, no cups or any containers for ice. Upstairs room had what sounded like kids running across the floor after midnight and lots of noise outside. But you get what you pay for so spend another $20 bucks and get something a little better.”
