The space
We cannot wait to (hopefully)host you at Hemlock haven soon!! Previously listed on by another manager,this property-active since June 2023 boasted 100% 5-star reviews and has been booked every weekend.

This mountainside retreat is nestled on 35 acres of tranquil natural paradise, surrounded by the 35 acres is hundreds of acres of state game land..
The cabin is a four bedroom, two bathroom retreat with 2 floors , a large living room,a game TV room, a fully stocked kitchen, a porch and a large deck with a brand-new hot tub to relax in and feel the water jets on your back after a day of hiking, exploring etc .
The first floor hosts the kitchen, a large dining room table and a large living room with plenty of seating for everyone, also on the first floor is a game/Tv room . All the bedrooms are on the second floor , with a bathroom on each floor ..

The Kitchen: Stocked from top to bottom with everything you should need to cook up a storm, make a cup of coffee, or just enough to go with takeout .. We know how important coffee is so you have the option to use the drip coffee maker or the k-cup machine..
The living room: Relax on our giant couch, and turn on the gas/wood stove and kick up your feet around it , there is plenty of seating for everyone..
The game/tv room: Open and bright during the day, this room also functions well as a TV or game room at night , with a 85 inch screen and projector, so you can watch all your favorite movies , even in the middle of nowhere..

Bathrooms: each bathroom is fully stocked with complimentary hotel-style shampoos and soaps, plus plenty of fresh clean towels ..

Bedroom 1: the master bedroom has a cali-king bed and a little reading nook so you can read your favorite books quite comfortably before you head to bed ..

Bedroom 2: Two queen beds

Bedroom 3: Two twin beds

Bedroom 4: Three twin bunk beds, perfect for all the kids

Extra beds: There is a day bed in the game room as well as two couches that are very comfortable and can easily accommodate extra sleepers..
Guest access
Guests have access to all areas of the cabin, the mini fish pond, and the intermediate forest surrounding the cabin ..
Other things to note
Summertime stays will be surrounded by the lush green of mature trees,other seasons will offer you views for miles across the mountain valley,the charming setting on the mountain gives you ample opportunity to enjoy nature like (deer,wild turkeys,porcupine, and pileated woodpeckers.)Just outside your door ..
Firewood is usually not included, you may bring your own or find dead wood on the property to use .. you can find firewood in the area at these sources .
1. Lowe’s in mill hall , (6.3 miles) I recommend calling prior to be sure they have it in stock.
2. Bellefonte/state college KOA Holiday campground (12 miles)2481 Jacksonville rd, Bellefonte pa . Open 9am-9pm

There is a gas grill on the deck , propane is usually available, we fill them if we catch them empty, we check them frequently, however if it should run out ,feel free to fill the tank at Lowe’s (6 miles) in mill hall ..

Shopping for essentials and dining (including some of the best ribs you’ll ever have!) are a 10 minute drive away in mill hall .. Lock haven is 20 minutes away with more options..

Beautiful hiking options are right out the door of the cabin, and more hiking ,kayaking,boating, bicycling, and even a lakeside beach are just 20 minutes away in popular Bald Eagle State Park/stocked trout streams ..
there lots of places to go to for sight seeing , eating , skiing/snow boarding and even a few museums..
