「The room was spacious with nice furnishings. We had a view over the beach towards the south. The bathroom was good with a deep bath and an over bath shower. The bed was really comfortable. We'd definitely go back.」

「Andy was friendly and helpful, had use of his 4x4 to go down to the cabin. Location was perfect with view of the lake. Unfortunately weather wasn’t good so couldn’t sit out on the lovely balcony as chairs and cushions were soaking wet. Log burner made cabin nice and snug. Cabin is simply equip but ideal. Would definitely stay again . Woods had great walks and use of the summer house is an added bonus especially if you stay in warmer months Everything in the cabin was adequate but a few things...

「My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival.」

「All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here.」
