“The property manager was great, responsive, and helpful. Although the cleanliness of the room was not that great, the host offered to send someone to clean which was nice. Also, the heater was very loud if you’re used to sleeping in silence. Some ear plugs would have helped but I didn’t have any at the time. The shower was clogged so the water built up. Again, the host offered to send someone but I declined since we were not staying long. All in all, the room was okay for a night but I……

“We absolutely loved our time here. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The forest view was lovely and yet we were so close to the Heavenly Gondola. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the 6 bedroom Villa #11. We had a lovely view of the forest out the back and the Gondolas out the front corner windows. The listing does need to be updated for accuracy though. On the negative side there was no desk (although the listing said there was one). But, on the up side, the 6 bedroom listing said 4……

“Overall great stay for a quick trip. Great access to the lake and even though it was at times full it was no where near as packed as other locations on the lake.”

“The place was exactly what we needed. Super clean and comfortable and close to all the attractions. Easy to walk to get to everything. The only tricky thing was the door code system. It was very sensitive and sometime needed a few tries to get the lock just right. Other than that it was great and we would stay here again.”

“Enjoyed our room over looking one of the pools on property. The pools and beach are just a short walk from our room, along with great restaurants and shopping too! Property manager was easy to communicate with but we never really needed them because we had everything we needed. Nice modern decor added to this unit. The resort itself is going through some much needed major renovations but it never once bothered us. Definitely would stay again.”

“Everything about the property was great and as described. The only problem was that there was a patch of broken glass that my daughter found with her foot. I guess the housecleaner didn't thoroughly vacuum.”

“Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began. The home was immaculately kept and had everything we needed to feel comfortable as a large group. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the pots, pans and appliances necessary to cook multiple meals……
