Only complaint would be the $10 per day parking charge. I probably missed reading there was a charge to park but all the other hotels I’ve stayed at in the same area have never had a parking charge.

Our family of 4 was coming up to the Mall of America and enjoyed that the location was close. Prior to our arrival, we called and asked if there was a pack and play for our young child. My husband was on the phone for 18 mins, off and on being put on hold. The lady on the other line was not friendly, but said they put it in and have it in our room. When we arrived Friday evening, we checked in and when asked about the pack and play, a man at the front (who wasn't even checking us in, but another woman) said rudely, "We don't have a pack and play!" while the lady checking us in said that she was going to check with housekeeping about the pack and play. We never received one. The food was good, however, the dining area is small, for having 2 hotels (Tru and Home 2 Hilton) in the same location. Finding a seat and waiting in line to get food was long. Shuttles to MOA were allowed, but you had to sign up. When the times were booked and we cancelled the time, the front desk did say that we didn't need to make an appointment and they would take us whenever. Overall, we had a good stay. A good room, good food, but customer service is what brought down the stars rating.

The hotel charged for parking and didn’t state that in the booking. The lady at check in had a condescending tone. I did the check in online and put my card info and she still asked for my card but didn’t tell me why. She offered the other guest in front of me bottles of water but didn’t offer us any.

Upon arrival, there was a solid 10 minute wait to be able to check in as the single staff addressed one customer ahead of us. The staff quickly got us checked in once staff was available, but, upon arriving at the room, we walk into an already occupied room, much to our and the occupants surprise! Thankfully, they were dressed. Returning to the front desk, the staff was confused and identified that the hotel's system had gone done for two hours that day, so someone else checking in had been assigned to the same room we had booked. Staff spent an addition 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get us into a room. Eventually, the staff found a room with a pull out that would accommodate all of our party, rather than the two queens we had booked. The initial staff promised to drop off a key once things settled down at the front desk. 20 minutes later, seeing that same staff in the hallway while getting ice, we communicated that we'd be going to sleep given how late it was and to slip the promised key beneath the door. An hour later, after we were asleep, a new night staff knocked on our door and said he was just checking if this was the room we had been placed in. We relayed that the former staff was supposed to slip the key under the door, which was still missing. The night staff said he would do so. In the morning, there was still no key, so we talked to the front desk who promised a key upon our return from a quick errand off site. No discount or remediation offered

Excellent place just so noisy with being so close to airport. Also woke up to backpain the bed was not comfortable and the pillows are cheap. Otherwise the place is awesome.

Clean and friendly staff only good things
Extremely loud heating/cooling system sounded like a plane was landing in our room which contributed to the zero sleep we got. The pillows were flimsy and on each Queen bed there were only 3 pillows. Usually a double Queen means at least one bed will have more than one person. Three pillows makes no sense. And, lastly, paying for parking is ridiculous.

Pool was cold. Beds were very uncomfortable. There is a $10 parking fee that I somehow missed when booking. Not that it’s a lot but what’s the point of a parking fee? Why not just add it to the cost of the room? Stayed at many hotels around the Mall of America but most likely won’t be back.

Great place, would recommend!
We had a wonderful stay! The staff really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and meet our needs. The room was efficient and modern, the pool was good, and the breakfast was great. The only small thing was it looked like one of the shelves in the shower had been cracked and wasn’t yet fixed. But that was truly the only downside to an otherwise awesome stay!

Keep Booking Confirmation Emails
Overall, it was a good hotel. It was very busy, which makes sense due to its location to the MSP airport, Mall of America, and Whirlyball fun zone. It was a little disheartening at first when we tried to check in, they said we did not have a reservation. It took awhile, but then then they finally found our reservation after I had to pull up my confirmation email. It seemed to be one of the longer check in's i have experienced because of that. Thankfully, everything was squared away and was finally able to check in.

Great clean hotel with breakfast and big lobby space with activities. The rooms were quiet. It was walking distance to the MOA and light rail station. It was handy to have Whirly Ball attached as well.
