「We very much enjoyed our stay on this property. The housing was adequate; great home and very clean. Nicely stocked but it was quite warm (80-83 degrees) in the house for my family (we normally keep our thermostat between 68-71). The window air unit was essential but there was no way to cool the back bedroom. The house is well stocked and taken care of. We enjoyed a walk around the property and meeting the goat, the cat, and seeing a number of deer, birds, berries, and fun wildlife. The owner...

「I’m so glad I found this gem of a place! I was looking for a place to stay near my niece’s wedding and there was not a lot near by. Stone hill farm was perfect! My mom and siblings and I had a wonderful time! It’s beautiful and the home felt so welcoming, they even had a welcoming sign for us. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace for making smores and chatting by the fire! 」

「What a serene spot! The property was just as listed! We were here for just 2 overnights and spent the day in Walker. Great morning coffee on the deck, saw deer and turkeys … if you want a place to get away, this is it! Jim was great to work with and accommodating. Only problem we had was a VRBO/Google Maps issue — listen to Jim’s directions and map the exact address. The “get directions” option on VRBO took us to the area but not the place! Everything else was easy! 」

「As expected, 2nd time we’ve stayed there, great location for us (5 adults and four dogs), roomy, clean, wonderful living area and kitchen. The outdoor area was great- the outdoor grill was used every morning for cooking breakast. The grounds were wonderful for the dogs!Convenient for our family event and close to Winona for grocery shopping!」

「Property is as listed. It is a fully operational farm so keep that in mind. We went up for a race weekend @ Deer creek speedway. Does offer amenities including washer, dryer, toaster, stove/oven, and refrigerator. Pull out sofa along with some cots. Shower and toilet, it is also equipped with ac/heat. Does have a barn available ( more or less camping ). Would visit again. 」

「We had a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for our family of 11. This place had comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and fun kid toys for our little girls! We would definitely stay again! 」

「Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan!」

「We stayed at the farmhouse while visit family over the 4th. The proximity to Walker is great. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The property is nice and quiet. 」

「We had a great time visiting with our kiddos and friends over the 4th if July. Karen made sure we had what we needed. Thr kids loved snuggling the bunny and hiking with goats. We picked berries and gathered mushrooms. Overall a great time! Do be prepared that there is very spotty cell coverage, so be ready to navigate "old school". 」

「The house was perfect. The property was the perfect distance from town. The only thing you'd hear when stepping out onto the back deck was quiet and birds. There were window ac's and fans in every room and four quaint bedrooms. It was exactly like the pictures. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. The owners were fantastic, answering any questions I had and check in was super easy and there were farm fresh eggs.」

「House was spacious. Rooms were well kept and cleaned. Family room has a pool table which is a plus. Patios are perched high up. There's a washer and dryer, albeit older models, but functioning. Spacious kitchen and dining area. Would definitely stay there again. 」
