“10/10, one of the more memorable locations in all my stays near Minocqua, worth every penny. The location, the house, the dock, everything was out of this world. Easy and fast communication with the owner, immaculate condition, barely had to go into town for anything! Just like it should be. “We had a wonderful time on the lake! Weather was amazing. The house was great for 13 people. Of course with all the trees, mosquitoes made it a challenge to sit outside during the evening. However we enjoyed the deck with the picture perfect view during the day. Wi-fi was very unstable so it was difficult to use the smart tv's at the end of the day and didn't allow everyone to sign on. I definitely recommend the place for adults and families with teens on up!”

Very clean and appropriately decorated for the location. Host was very friendly and helpful with a few fishing tips 😀. It’s great to have a boat launch right on the property.”

“This was our second stay at this location and the first time we stayed after the remodel. We liked everything and really enjoyed the kitchen upgrade it was perfect for cooking. Our only con was we were traveling with 2 elderly people and the couch was too low and too hard to get out of it would be nice to have a recliner in the upstairs living room.”

“We really enjoyed our time at Bear Cottage. Only a few feet to waters edge allowed us it see ducks a beaver, 2 bald eagles a heron and other birds! A short ride brought us deer, porcupines, a partridge, and gorgeous trees. The night sky was so clear we could see the Milky Way. We’ll be back!!”
