“This is our 2nd stay, and we enjoyed it even more than the last time. We cannot wait for our next visit! Dave our host was very responsive and check in was a breeze. The location is awesome at the end of the lake. The water is so clean you can see right down to the bottom. It is perfect for swimming, Kayaking/paddle boarding and fishing. “This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun……

“What a perfect lake front cottage! This cottage was super clean, and stocked with all of the basic needs (paper towels, TP, bath/beach towels etc). The outdoor deck was great for grilling with stunning sunset views and the lakeside deck/dock was great for quiet morning reading and perfect for the jet skis we rented, and fishing. all the beds were super comfortable- confirmed by teenage boys! I personally loved the new modern kitchen and bathrooms- clean and tidy! Kurt was super responsive and……

“Absolutely perfect! We had such an incredible time with our family here this past week. The house was as listed. Fully stocked and equipped with everything, as if you were at home. The amount of water equipment that was readily accessible to use was a super plus! Our host Steve and Desni were magnificent. They were very prompt in responding when needed. “Super clean, we were able to go in a few minutes early no problem! Very comfortable bed, with extra blankets as well! We stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding and it was exactly what we needed. ”

“We had such a wonderful time it's hard where to start.We traveled here with our 2 granddaughters and 2 of their friends. They all had a great time tubing and fishing and swimming in the river and in the lake. We brought our bass boat and used the boat ramp at the park to launch it.( free for military btw).The kids played board games and cards every night and made smores by the fire. A very peaceful location for sure. We saw deer here, a very friendly chipmunk, and cool turtles too.We were sad it……

There were some cobwebs on the balcony next to the kitchen but other than that, house inside was very clean. ”
