Staffs attitude towards using lastminute to book was terrible (we were only trying to go support a small town after covid). Bed was a little hard for our liking, microwave display was broken so we weren’t game to use it.
Bathroom exceptionally clean although did notice a smell from the water (don’t believe this was the hotel fault) overall was cozy small place for a nice weekend getaway.

Old country motel located on Bruce Highway perfect distance from Townsville for a overnight stopover to Brisbane. Checkin was organised, pub and takeaway venue virtually out the back door. Motel is old but clean and tidy with comfortable bed - all that is needed.

Fair Enough
This is real bush accommodation, I hate to think what a city slicker would say about it. We wanted to get a little way down the road before a big drive, and it suited us perfectly. We had a good experience at reception, both on checking in and before when we hadn’t got an email confirmation. Our room was basic, but very clean and we appreciated the air con set to warm. I encourage others to step out of their comfort zone and experience real country hospitality.

Bruce really helpful and approachable good guy. TV in room did not work and Bruce let me use the next door room's TV. Main light in room was not working. Did not think that I got value for money compared to other places that I have stayed at.
