“Our stay was wonderful!! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and the staff was amazing!”

“The room was clean but very outdated (carpet, bedspreads, bathroom decor). Also, the kitchen setup is antiquated and only ate there once. The staff was nice and very accommodating. The hotel is in a great location. The price with Expedia was excellent. Overall, the hotel would not be my first choice because of the decor.”

“The Monmouth Inn is always a treat to stop at when we’re coming too and from the beach. The staff is always very kind and hospitable, the breakfast is outstanding along with the breakfast staff, the grounds are quite remarkable to walk through accompanied by the many kind cats of Monmouth, all of the rooms are so unique and beautiful to stay in, and the front desk staff are always so welcoming and inviting. For each stay, we’ve gotten a different room and it’s always so exciting to see where on……

“Lovely old building in need of a lot of upkeep The ceiling over the bath was actually collapsing in Room was spacious but might be time to replace bedding with a fresh rooms and discard the blanket Breakfast was a non event Toaster didn’t work staff said oh only half works Cloches were empty - they were on but no food in them Lots of confusion with our server We couldn’t find the food and she said you can only have 3 things on menu ? We asked how much to order more items and she had no idea”

“There was only one small trash can in the room and it was in the bathroom. There was mold in the shower/tub area. For a family of four we had to request extra towel and shower gel. Breakfast was well prepared and tasted great! We especially enjoyed having coffee and lemon water in the lobby.”

“You would never know this property is as old as it is. Very well maintained. Check-in staff was awesome. Bed was very comfortable. Water pressure, meh. Good location. Did not have any interaction with the restaurant. Bar area was very nice and huge. Hospitality at the bar, meh. Oh, and completely beyond their control but not far from a train crossing with the noise that brings but not terrible. Overall great stay and would go back.”
