There were know surprises from the listing to the actual property. The kitchen was fully stocked for your cooking needs. The cabin was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet nights on the patio and the one clear night we had was amazing for star gazing!

!st time Moab visit
The property had amazing views of the La Sal Mountains. Once you arrive, you are quickly greeted by a bunch of roaming cows. The inside is just as advertised and perfect for 3 adults with 2 dogs who could potentially be barking. I had a wonderful time and definitely would recommended staying here.

Super Getaway in the Outskirts of Moab, Utah!!

Property as advertised
The cabin is as advertsied, it was clean, and quiet; a very tranquill and restful setting outside of Moab. A nice fully equiped kitchen and a great back patio. Due to a storm we briefly lost power but the owner/host Beth stopped by immediately to let us know and make sure everything was okay, it was a nice follow-up. Other than that, we saw only birds and some cows, yup open range in this part of Utah means open range! If you want a very nice, quiet and restful place while in Moab, stay here it was convenient to town, Arches NP and Canyonlands NP.

Wonderful cabin!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Vista cabin. The views of the La Sal mountains can’t be beat! We had all the amenities we needed (great WiFi, well supplied kitchen, grill, washer & dryer, AC, etc…) while still feeling remote and away from the city. So peaceful and relaxing. We spent a lot of time outside under the covered porch that wraps around the entire cabin. Temps were much cooler at the cabin’s elevation than in Moab proper. Perfect cabin for our family vacation!

Loved it
It was so refreshing to come back to this place in the mountains after fighting the heat in Moab. The place was clean and everything we needed was provided by the host. The view was spectacular. Not only did you have the mountains to the left, but you had basically the entire Moab valley to your right. It’s a little bit of a drive from Moab, but I actually prefer to be away from the tourist chaos going on there and other places.

Mountain getaway!!
This cabin was very secluded and that's exactly what we were looking for!! The owners allowed us to bring our two dogs which made our trip that much more enjoyable. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated! It had all the amenities needed! Highly recommended!!

Perfectly peaceful
This cabin is a real gem! Up a winding road away from the hustle and bustle of town. It was a great base for our trip with two kids to visit Arches. The area around the cabin is peaceful and gorgeous. The space had everything we needed to be comfortable. While the air conditioning was not working, I was impressed how cool the cabin stayed in spite of the hot summer temperatures. The covered porch was where we spent most of our down time hanging out, it was wonderful to have an outdoor space that was shaded! It’s a little bit of a drive out of the city, but don’t hesitate to book!

Not our Favorite
We have stayed in several VRBO homes, and we have never had to leave a bad review. But this house, in our opinion, does not meet VRBO standards. It started off with a punctured tire after hitting one of the many potholes on the long remote road up to the house. Thankfully we had a run flat tire, so we proceeded up to the house as planned. Our plan was to contact a tire repair shop when we arrived at the Studio. But when we arrived we were harassed by a very large dog that lives in another unit on the property. It circled our car barking at us then jumped up and scratched the driver side door...three times! The scratches are deep and will require repair. When we finally got into the studio we discovered neither the cell service or internet worked in that remote area. We attempted to log into the internet several times on several accounts, but it would not connect. Without the ability to contact a tire shop we had to drive all the way back into town on the run flat tire. At this point we rented a hotel room instead. We didn't want to return to encounter the dog again and get more scratches on our car. When I contacted the management company asking them to contact the owner and explain our situation (and ask for a refund) we were ignored. Save yourself the headache and rent something else.

Hi Janice, we're sorry to hear that you did not get to enjoy this beautiful property. We followed up with the homeowner, who let us know that she was not made aware of any issues until the next day, but she wishes you had contacted her right away. She assured us that the fiberoptic internet works well, though she would have been happy to help you troubleshoot if necessary. Cell service is not an issue for most guests though it is a remote location, as can been seen in the listing. We apologize for your frustrations, but we are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy exceptional stays here!

Cottage was absolutely amazing, we could not have asked for a more amazing place! The only thing I might suggest is actually posting about it's location on the mountain...we definitely were not expecting the drive to and from the cottage :-)

Beautiful Mountains
It was a beautiful location in the mountains - it takes about 1/2 hour to get into Arches. It's quiet, private, and provides way different (and unexpected) scenery from the red rocks. The aspens were just turning and were beautiful. When we went Arches was 95 degrees, so this mountain retreat was a pleasant relief from it- it seemed like the temps were about 10 degrees cooler.

Easily one of our all-time favorite rentals. We loved the cabin's positioning in the mountains, not minding at all the 25 minute drive into town. The views we gorgeous in every direction. Couldn't have asked for more.

Amazing cabin and space for you dog to be free.r in Moab
The cabin was on the top of a mountain on a spacious property. It is very dog friendly. There is everything you need and the property is very well taken care of. Its a bit of a drive in and out, but is worth it. It can be 20 degrees cooler at the cabin. That was nice at the end of June.

We really enjoyed staying at the Vista Cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a short vacation. It is a bit out of the way, but that is exactly what we wanted. Would definitely stay here again!!

Pretty Views!
The cabin is cute and the views are spectacular. The main surface areas were very clean but there were some dust bunnies on the light fixtures. We stayed here in February and the cabin is located at a much higher elevation than Moab so it was about 20 degrees colder at the cabin. This is probably awesome in the summer but given it was winter we weren’t quite as prepared as would have liked as there was about a foot of snow on the ground also at the cabin. The heat was not working so the cabin was heated by space heaters, which had a hard time keeping up the first two colder nights but then did fine. The property owner did offer to bring us another space heater also, which we did decline. Overall, we would stay here again as the setting is beautiful and the cabin is nice. There are three other rental cabins within view from the place but there is acreage between them.

My husband and I, and our two dogs had the best time during our stay for our 14 year anniversary. The winter views were amazing! The cabin felt secluded and cozy. We loved the awning that kept the snow away from the house. We even had deer looking through the sliding glass doors! The best part was the high location took us above the fog/clouds where we enjoyed some much needed winter sunshine. We will definitely be back!

Cozy cabin in a beautiful location
If you're looking to unplug in a cabin that is super cute and and well taken care of, this place is for you. The views are amazing and the cabin is very comfortable. But if you're hoping to do a little work while you enjoy the scenery and beauty of Moab, that's difficult to do here since my husband and I did not get the wifi to work once. It wasn't slow, it simply didn't work at all for us which was pretty frustrating as this was a leisure/work trip and we're careful to only book homes where they're listed as having working wifi. In order to get any service we had to get in our car and drive about 10 minutes down the mountain. The guest host was very kind and accommodating and quick to respond and apologetic for the lack of service which obviously wasn't her fault. It may just be best to update the listing as not having working wifi until it actually does. But as noted above, if you're coming to unplug and don't have to worry about annoying work emails then this place is for you.

Vista Cabin is Paradise!
If you want to get away from it all this place is for you. Nestled in the La Sal this cabin is in paradise. Never before have I witnessed such beautiful and long lasting sunsets. The cabin is so homey and comfortable. Great place to let the dog run around and explore. Wish we had a day to just stay at the property and relax. Maybe next time.

Great Moab Retreat!
We arrived at night so the next morning was a terrific surprise of beautiful vistas, wildflowers and perfect cooler temps. This cabin is perfectly appointed and our few days were magical.
