“The villa had all the amenities we could require. It provided a very comfortable and homely base to stay. However little things like a broom was broken and the coffee machine didn't work should not happen.”

“Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but……

“Viel Platz für zwei Familien mit vier Kindern mit wunderbarem Blick auf die Berge. Die Unterkunft ist in einem sehr ruhigen, kleinen und sympathischen Weiler gelegen. Nur die Kommunikation über Fewo-Direkt/Vrbo/Expedia war schlecht: Ich konnte keine Nachrichten des Gastgebers über die Plattform Fewo-Direkt einsehen und auch keine verschicken. Das Problem wurde bis zum Reiseantritt nicht behoben. So war uns nicht klar, ob mit dem Check-In alles funktionieren würde.”

“The property was lovely. The view to Lake Como was spectacular. The hosts live next door and were very attentive without being disruptive. The only negative I can mention is that we used the kitchen to cook a meal and there were no essentials like salt/pepper/olive oil - most other VRBOs we have stayed at have those available. But we did have 4 delicious fresh eggs when we arrived and the hosts provided a mini happy hour with appetizers and wine on our first night. Overall a definite 5……
