The best thing about the lodge is its proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park. It is by far the lodging closest to the park. Scenery is gorgeous. There are very few dining options near the lodge. Pizza was available for purchase from the lodge office until 6 or 7pm.

Unique and fun for the kids first time glamping. Rent your boards for sandboarding at the dunes near by! Rusti has smores for kids but we could not partake. A little chilly at night and would like more food options. Would stay again!

Peaceful house, great location and well stocked place. Enough room to place a large dog kennel next to the kitchen table.Neighborhood is really quiet which is exactly what we needed. The crestone book was an interesting read and recommended perusing. Only suggestion is to add a deck of cards, uno, ...
