“The property is upgrading its establishment. It has various levels of accommodation. I traveled alone and chose the lowest level - it was one of a group of similar units. The unit was spotless, seemed to have been updated recently. It had a queen bed, and a single bed. It had everything I required - microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery for 3 occupants, TV. Room size was adequate for the potential number of occupants - certainly adequate for one. There was no couch (not a problem for……

“Back door open, Place dirty, moldy pot on the stove. Men's shoes left there and rubbish bins full. Money was taken from my credit card on booking. No answer from host when reported on arrival. Reported to Stayz for full refund as had to book 2 rooms at a motel instead.”

“This is a very well designed townhouse, with spacious bedrooms, ample storage, well appointed, attractive and functional throughout. The location is excellent, with walking access to the lake, foreshore, bbqs, playground, waterpark, cycleways etc. Walk to the impressive SAM arts complex with cafe. Views to the lake and evening coloured lighting were lovely. There is some noise from the road at the front of this particular Unit, but it quietened in the evening and did not interrupt sleep. “the house was comfortable for my adult family to stay whilst we had a family reunion in Nagambie. back verandah, kitchen table and front lounge were cosy places to gather and chat. Beds were large and comfy. The weather was cool, but the view was wonderful. Too cool to swim or canoe, but maybe next time we can!”

“Overall the house was satisfying. Only the price was a bit expensive. It was stated maximum of 12 person sleeps. We have paid the house base on what have been stated online. When i declare that we will be 11+1 infant, there were additional $800++ extra to pay. I have contacted the host & he said the price is based on how many people were staying. So im a bit confused as it was stated for 12person stay. I thought that the price was based on per house per stay but it based on per person per stay.”

There were plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy (spa was a huge hit) and we loved sitting by the cosy fire at night. “The property was conveniently located to cafes and the main st. It’s right on the lake and has a fantastic outdoor area with a pool. A lovely unit, but lacking a few things, no hair dryer, lack of towel rails ,and a badly designed shower that water flowed out on to the bathroom floor. ”

“The Bosses Settlement was a real find and surpassed our expectations from the moment we arrived. Picturesquely located in rolling countryside, cahrmingly renovated, very comfortablely furnished (esp the beds),the Settlemnet had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Apart from the house there were so many outdoor areas to relax in, verandahs on 3 sides, beautiful gardens and a fire pit area. The kitchen was well equipped and spotless and best of all stocked with freshly baked anzac biscuits,……
