「The house has a nice private and quiet feel and is great for family gatherings given the layout of the dwellings. The house itself is really neat and has been restored beautifully. It's about an hour drive to Charleston, so you can get away from the hustle and traffic of the city but also do the tourist thing pretty easily.」

「This home in the Wild Dunes Resort is really lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the birds, turtles, and the one alligator that came by in the afternoon. 「If you want somewhere quiet but close to the Charleston area, then Mount Pleasant is the place to stay. This Town House is well equipped with nice beds, well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable lounge area. Downsides? We did feel left out as locals use golf carts to get around the immediate area rather than their cars and being from the UK, we would have appreciated a kettle but this are small issues and shouldn't detract from the overall scoring.」
