Great location, great views!

This unit was located within short walking distance from restaurants, the marina, and shops. The actual citadel of Monemvasia was about a 10-15 min walk away. A great balcony overlooking the water and Monemvasia on the second floor was a great place to have a drink and relax. It was clean, comfortable, and the sound of the lapping sea put us all to sleep each night. The ONLY thing we had an issue with was the shower drainage. That needs to be fixed. Water accumulated a bit and we had to sop up water to prevent it from spreading on floor. Aside from that, this is a perfect unit for a family of four like us.

Lovely host, comfortable apartment, great location

We spent two days here visiting the castle town and the surrounding area. This apartment is a very comfortable two story unit right on the beach road. The location was perfect for us. The kitchen and upper bedroom windows look directly at the beach in front and at the ‘rock’, but the entry door is on the back side facing the main road. There is no noise despite the fact that the restaurants and the beach promenade are directly in front. (The access to the beach and promenade is less than 20 meters along the road.). The apartment has everything needed for a successful stay. A few essentials are in the kitchen, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is completely modern, and the feel is like you are visiting a real home, not a sterile vacation rental. As one reviewer noted, you must be aware that the bedrooms are up a tight but very safe and easy spiral staircase, so if you have large suitcases it will be a challenge. Fortunately we had small bags. We spent one day visiting the medieval town and climbing to the top of the rock (which is not as daunting as it looks at first glance), and a second day travelling south to spend the day at the amazing, almost deserted, long sandy beaches of Elefonisi island, which is easily accessible by a short car ferry ride.

Una casa di ottimo gusto, sul mare e a due passi dal centro

Un'abitazione molto curata, ottimamente arredata, inondata dal sole, estremamente comoda e con una bellissima scala a chiocciola. Abbiamo passato due notti con i nostri due figli di 6 e 9 anni e se non fosse stata già occupata ci saremmo fermati anche più a lungo. Aliki è assai premurosa, dà indicazioni precisissime su come arrivare all'appartamento e su tutte le possibili cose da fare. Un ottimo posto, anche per lunghi soggiorni.
