“This property has a lot of room to spread out, and is in a beautiful location approximately 10 minutes from downtown Pella. There are 4 easily used spaces if you are wanting to have a private conversation or want a few minutes alone. We did not use the porch with the hot Tub pr grill, but they appeared to be in excellent condition. The owners do an excellent job of communicating quickly. My son loved the wii. If you are a fan, it works well.Plenty of parking space, and room for outdoor games (ie……

“Perfect family get away!!”

“Great place to stay for a quick getaway near the lake for fishing.”

“Loved the convenience of having a hot shower and comfy bed. Information regarding our stay was easy to comprehend. Questions I had were quickly answered. Our cabin was clean for the most part, the hardwood floors could have used one more sweeping before our arrival.”

“When we arrived at the cabin, we were given the incorrect code to get in. It took 30 minutes and several texts and phone calls (that went to voicemail) to get the correct code. Because it was 80 degrees out, we had to sit in our vehicle with the engine running and wait. The cabin was neat and clean. the air conditioning unit was unbearable! Every time it kicked on, it shook the walls and sounded like a freight train. We made an effort to sleep with the unit on, which was impossible. Because of……

“The cabin was not clean, there was food left in the refrigerator and used coffee grounds left in the coffee machine, the freezer was dirty and the floors were dirty as well, The garbage pail was not clean. The downtown offered no breakfast locations, or restaurants, only a bar across the street. Overall, we will not be staying at this location in the future.”

“Cozy stay for two. Convenient access to lake Rathbun within a few miles”

“The check in process was effortless because of the great communication by management. The property was a perfect size for the two of us. We would recommend the cabin stay to anyone visiting the Rathbun Lake area. The property has numerous activities for adults and kids. ”

“We were at Lake Rathbun for a family gathering. We were the only ones without a camper. When we booked the cabin, we knew it was a few miles away from the lake, but we felt like the price we paid should have included a nice view of the lake. It was Father's Day weekend, so prices were probably a bit higher.”

“We had another great experience! Always a favorite trip that Foxtail makes extra memorable.”
