“The house was centrally located but it needs a deep clean. There were stains on the rugs, couch and bedding. I told the host I was a clean freak, and this home needed a better cleaning. The shower curtains had mold on it, pillows were stained. No one in my family slept on the bedding, we all slept on top. The outside needs some TLC. The home had a terrible musty smell when we came in. The floors need to be scrubbed. I really wanted to like this place, but it needs some work.”

It’s very private, peaceful, and convenient to Starkville. If you’re coming in for meetings or sporting events, the location truly is a 10/10. The outdoor areas are great, and the overall concept of the house is neat. I also liked having the option of multiple bedrooms for flexibility with our group.However, there were several issues that made the stay……

“This was a wonderful property just blocks from the district. Very cozy and close to everything! We walked to restaurants and had a great stay!”

“Good, safe location with nice neighbors. House is exactly as described - 2BR, 1BA with a nice carport for parking in the back. Communications and check-in/out were very easy with the owner. The mattresses were comfortable, WiFi was plenty strong, and A/C was able to keep up on some very hot summer days and nights. Overall a good value and I would stay here again if in the area.”

“The property was fantastic in so many ways. The house is bright and airy. The couch is big enough for the whole family to relax, talk & watch a movie. The bedding and towels are a very nice quality. The kitchen spacious enough for several people to be working together. I would definitely stay there again!”

“The house was freshly updated, spacious, and close to MSU. I’d give it a 5star but the cleaning crew needs to do a better job. The floors lacked vacuuming and mopping, thankful I packed my slippers.”
