Relaxing and Picturesque

We had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay at this property. The grounds and the pool were fantastic and it was a great base for visiting the surrounding area. Very clean and a warm welcome when we arrived.

Excellent place

Great location in central Tuscany from which to see different parts as long as you have a car. Fairly well equipped kitchen should you wish to cook at home. Comfortable beds-bathrooms good but showers could be a bit larger. Sufficient though. Host was very good.

The Best!

Hard to say enough about this wonderful property and our great 2 week stay. Diana is the best host ever. She went way beyond on several occasions to make the stay wonderful. It's a great location. Good dining out near. One walking distance out the back door the other less than 1km away. Also a wonderful little grocery store with great gelato every night is a short walk. People in town were so friendly. Can't praise this location and Diana enough. You will not go wrong. Ciao.

A lovely farmhouse in the Tuscan Hills

The property has 4 apartments and a beautiful pool which was a great way to end our days touring the Tuscan area. Let me start by saying that Cinzia Castellacci, the manager/caretaker/our contact was AMAZING!!!!! If we ever return, it will be because of her. That being said, we were not thrilled with the apartment. It was small for 4 people, the bathrooms were too small(showers were like cruise-ship sized), with no shelves for your soap/shampoo etc. I had to open the door so that I could move and wash myself and I'm not a big guy. The sitting room was upstairs, not comfortable and very dark, no windows, and not very inviting. In 2 weeks, we never used this room. The best part was sitting/eating outside on the terrace with amazing views. Do bring or buy bug repellent. They have mosquitos and other small flies that do bite. Windows do not have screens!! Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen was a good size. In short, the property was beautiful, the apartment was disappointing, Cinzia was our saving grace!!!!

Unser Aufenthalt in der Toskana

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Der Blick von unserer Ferienwohnung in die herrliche Landschaft, war immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Diana. Ich sitze im Rollstuhl und es gab für mich die eine oder andere Schwierigkeit. Aber Dank Diana gab es die auf einmal nicht mehr. Sie setzte alle Hebel in Bewegung um mir den Aufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis zu machen. Diese Unterkunft kann ich nur empfehlen.

Super vacances en famille

La propriété est très bien aménagée et très bien entretenue tous les matins par Massimo qui est à notre disposition en cas de besoin. Elle est située dans un tout petit village avec une épicerie et 2 restaurants. Il y a un terrain de pétanque public en face de l'église, à 2 pas de la résidence. C'est idéallement situé à +/-1h de Pise, Florence et Sienne et +/-30 min de Volterra et de San Gimignano. L'appartement est spacieux et frais malgré la canicule et l'absence de climatisation. Gennaro avait proposé de mettre 4 lits dans la chambre enfants pour que personne ne doive dormir sur le canapé lit du salon. C'est un peu serré dans une chambre à 4, mais c'est tout à fait satisfaisant. Tout est prévu pour un séjour agréable: draps de bains en suffisance, petites attentions de bienvenue à notre arrivée sur la table (vin, huile d'olive, passata, pâtes), prises anti moustique dans toutes les pièces, ... Il ne manque rien. Et que dire des légumes du jardin mis à disposition des hôtes. Elisabetta donne des renseignements touristique sur demande. Elle s'occupe des commandes de pain qui est à disposition à la résidence dès notre levé (car il n'y a pas de boulangerie au village). J'ai hésité à rédiger cet avis pour garder cette bonne adresse pour moi, mais vu la qualité du séjour, je n'hésiterai pas à y retourner un jour.

Well maintained holiday appartment in beautiful, quiet location

- small house with 4 holiday apartments (2 with terrace, 2 with patio) - well maintained and very well managed (big thanks to the ever-present Cinzia) - nice pool with different depths makes it suitable for children of various ages as well as adults - Wifi speed mostly quite good (separated for each apartment), a bit slower in the evening when most guests at home - location a bit more remote (1h to Florence, 1h to Pisa, 45min to Siena) but only 25min to San Gimignano, Volterra also less than 45min) - Iano has two small restaurants and a small minimarket (regards to Mauro) which covers all basic needs; for a bit more choice and selection need to drive 20min to Montaione

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegt und ansprechend. Sehr nette Vermieter, die jederzeit ansprechbar sind und weiterhelfen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit und zwei Restaurans in wenigen Schritten erreichbar. Schöne Ziele in der näheren Umgebung. Auto erforderlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!
