Beautiful location & stay

We had a great time! Beautiful location with great outdoor seating and ambiance. Excellent amenities available in kitchen for cooking & entertaining. We are local to Sonoma County and just wanted a quick escape and get-away from our busy lives. This place was perfect!!

Monte Rio

We Loved everything. It Is the Perfect View. Clean, updated, full kitchen supplies. And, even a Lot of things similar to home for me! Wish there was a chair in the hot tub. LOL. We kind of sunk quickly. I would love to ask about the man (Patriarch?) of the family's picture in the kitchen. He looked like someone I would have enjoyed. It also seems you have been there awhile.....might you remember Nancy Smith who I think owned the Yellow House? I 30 years ago used to spend time there when she owned it. Memories!!! We hope to be back!!!! Soon!

47th Wedding anniversary getaway

The Perfect View was a lovely cabin with just that-the perfect view of the Russian River! Loved it! My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing stay in this cozy cabin with all the comforts of home. Plan to return!

small cozy space

Our family of 4 (2 adult children) stayed 3 nights in this cozy space on the river. We loved the feel of being far away in the woods but close enough to purchase what we forgot and a short drive from our home. We spent time on the deck, in the hot tub, and bundled up on the couch relaxing. The 2 recommendations we have are to notify visitors that they need to turn on the water heater (we didn't realize this until wanting to shower the next morning) and that the kitchen had no pantry items at all (flour, sugar, spices, etc). Everything was clean, organized, and the management/check-in information was easy to follow. We did enjoy our stay and would rent this home again.

River View

We loved the view of the river and the ability to watch birds and people on the river. We found the house well-stocked and very comfortable. Not sure why the website didn't include children, as the house was fine for families, especially since the second bedroom is bunkbeds! Our 15 year old granddaughter came with us and we joined other family members staying nearby. The downside was lack of river access, as we brought our own kayaks and paddle board. We ended up leaving them at the other property with deck/river access. Not putting out chair cushions on the patio seating due to Covid restrictions, seemed silly, as the house had plenty of other soft surfaces requiring some sort of disinfectant and we could have taken the dining chair cushions out. As it was, we used folded towels. The other property provided plenty of cushioned seating.
