Il Monastero, located in the historic center of Monteprandone, derives its name from the Benedictine Farfense monks who settled in the Piceno region between the 11th and 12th centuries. The building, part of the 16th-century city walls, is adjacent to what was the Monastery of San Leonardo. The restoration, which took several years, was a meticulous and careful effort. The use of authentic materials and pieces helped to revive the original spirit of the structure.
