“Great location. The grounds were beautiful, gorgeous walkways. Awesome view of the Abbey.”

“Room was terribly hot! Even though your key card shuts everything in the room off when you remove it, somehow they are able to turn off the AC in the room from the desk. We woke up sweltering and sweaty every morning, as it seemed they shut the AC unit off at 7am. First morning I thought the AC was broken, so I went to the front desk to report it and they explained they turned it off! They asked if I was leaving for the day, and when I was coming back. What difference does that make, when……

“This is a beautiful quiet country hotel surrounded by fields and old world villages. The staff are all wonderful and patient and go out of their way to help despite my very beginner Italian. They serve a beautiful breakfast daily and the food is wonderful. Also within relatively accessible distance of the autostrada. It was a haven for us in the midst of some chaos”

“This palace is a dream, beautifully appointed, stunning views and Dorothy, the owner, felt like an old friend. I wanted to stay so much longer. Only improvement would have been directions or signage on how to find the grand abode. Once found, parking was available right out front on the street, a safe street. ”

“We were greeted with an attitude at first. Although the website states pool is open we were told it was closed. Room was great clean very spacious. Food at the restaurant was awesome. Our waiter Lorenzo, did a great job! Would totally recommend staying here. ”

“The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The wifi was very good. We had two devices which streamed at the same time with no problem. The food in the restaurant was delicious and filling. You will be asked a time for eating breakfast, I recommend being on time as the meal is prepared to be ready for eating at the time you specify. Lunch was always prepared to order and delicious. I hardly recommend the red wine with your meal. This is a quite place in a natural setting. Great for walks,……
