Die Unterkunft ist einfach gehalten aber ein super Ort um Monteverde zu erkunden. MiLady ist sehr bemüht, dass alles zur Zufriedenheit abläuft. Es gibt ein kleines süßes Frühstück mit anschließender Tier Fütterung (Affen, Agutis, Nasenbären) waren direkt im Gartens ein absolutes Highlight :) Die Einrichtung ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen aber zum schlafen, absolut in Ordnung. Vielen Dank und PuraVida :)

The grounds/property was very nice. The rooms and amenities, not so good. The room was basic, terrible bed, the small refrigerator hummed all night. No bedside table lamp just the very dim overhead light. The upper part of the window was missing glass, odd. The heavy blackout drapes were hung backwards. Again, odd. We left very early in the morning because we could not sleep on the bed. We did not get the complimentary breakfast

Es war eine süße Unterkunft mit sehr netten Personal welches sehr nett und hilfsbereit war! Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber sehr alt, altmodisch eingerichtet und ungemütlich. Das Bad auch, es müsste einmal renoviert werden. Insgesamt aber okay! Das Frühstück war super und die Inhaberin und Ihre Mutter haben sich viel Mühe gegeben.

Milady, her daughter and Mom were so welcoming! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious served with fruit, eggs, toast and pinto. Juice also available. What was absolutely so special about this place was the monkeys, coatis, agutis right at the back door where we could hand feed them. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip

Our stay at Dreams Lodge was wonderful. While the room was a bit small, Milady’s heart is huge and she was so incredibly helpful with booking excursions and finding places to go out to eat. The property was impeccably clean and the breakfast is top notch. And the resident family of monkeys kept us entertained!

The room itself was very disappointing, very small for 4 people, no air conditioning, the bathroom was very small and barely enough room to stand. The plumbing was terrible to the point where you had to throw toilet paper in the trash and there were instructions to do so. The bathroom also had cockroaches, that you could see after walking out of the shower. The staff were very nice, but the breakfast and coffee were mediocre at best. This was the only place we could find, would not come here again.

This property felt like staying at a good friend’s house. The manager, Tony, his staff, made us feel like family and went out of their way to help welcome us to Monteverde by not only recommending activities, but arranging them for us and making sure the tour companies actually took care of us. The breakfast every morning was made with care and the service was truly hospitable. The smallest minor issue is that there is no Air Conditioning in the room, which is expected in an eco-friendly lodge, however, the patio door had no screen, either so although it would have been lovely to get some fresh air into the room- the night critters from the forest made that impossible. Overall, the was the most personable lodging in our whole trip and we would highly recommend for someone seeking something family-owned and quiet.

Wonderful stay. Great and helpful staff helped us plan and arrange tours. Good value for money. Away from noise. Privacy. Saw a capybara eating from the fallen fruit (figs). Monse was especially nice and she has a beautiful and friendly little daughter. Great free fresh hot breakfast.

This is a great place to stay if spending time in Monteverde or St. Elena as it's centrally located. The room was large, beautiful, and very clean with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Free breakfast was cooked to order, plentiful, and delicious. There are no "views" as it's tucked in against tall trees. Some of the less than 5 stars above are because the check-in staff person woman was rude to us because Expedia said I had already paid half, and Expedia had failed to charge me (from booking 5 months prior - who can remember that far back?), and I had to go lookup Amex charges, which didn't exist. Once I paid what was due, I tried to make nice with her, as it wasn't my fault either, and she continued to chastise me that she knew better! So she clearly doesn't know about customer service. The male manager was extremely nice the next day. The WiFi didn't work well. And also they were using a very noisy leaf-blower for a while in the morning, which really disturbed our ability to enjoy the morning.

We have had such an amazing stay at Dreams Lodge. Tony and Monse are so helpful and endearing and always greeted us with a smile.We were also lucky enough to meet Tony's brother and wife and granddaughter. The close encounter with tbe monkeys and seeing such incredibly beautiful birds including the elusive Bell Bird. The breakfast was huge and so delicious. This is the place to stay in Monteverde!!
