「Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back.」

「This property is just ok. The kitchen is beautiful. The pictures didn’t lie. However, the beds are absolutely horrible. They are hard, uncomfortable and not fit for an extended stay. When it rains there is a rancid smell that consumes the unit. The owner cannot remedy this problem. When the rain stops the smell goes away.The washer and dryer is located in a smelly unfinished basement with missing buttons. It’s dark and unclean, and feels generally unsafe. I only recommend staying here for 2 days...
