“Second time round, and it was even better than last year. The Atelier feels like home (we are even a bit jealous of whoever is occupying it right now), and is an ideal place to rest, relax and recharge your batteries. Peaceful, lovely, charming, and close to nice towns (Ruffec) or cities (La Rochelke, Poitiers, Angouleme). We do hope to go back soon to "our" gîte!”

“Nous avons passé un séjour génial malgré la météo qui l'était moins, hehe. Déjà, niveau communication, tout est toujours clair et transparent, et ce, dès la réservation. Et une fois sur place, toute la famille s'est montrée accueillante, prévenante et disponible. Le cadre est super dépaysant, la piscine est juste parfaite et le logement est propre et présente tout le confort nécessaire. Je recommande chaudement, encore merci pour tout ”

“Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée. La piscine est propre. Elle n’est pas chauffée mais baignable sans problème en été. Les environs sont calmes et reposants. Tout le monde s’y retrouve : baignades kayaks vélo repos visites !”

“What can we say but, wow! We spent two weeks in this beautiful gite and it’s the best we’ve ever stayed in. Peaceful location just 15 mins to La Rochefoucauld with a huge Leclerc supermarket or Montbron with an Aldi and Intermarche. Plenty of local shops and markets to indulge in too.Bigger towns like Angouleme and Limoges are less than an hour away, so plenty to see and do. But if you just want to relax, the private heated pool (I didn’t measure it but must be 5m x 12m and 1.6 at the deep end……

“We arrived very late after a long drive but the key had been left in a safe place for us to retrieve. Cindy came the next day but we don't speak French and Cindy didn't speak English and communication was via the translate app on the phone - some of the details / instructions were very difficult to follow. We had booked for 13 but unfortunately only nine of us were able to go and enjoy the lovely facilities - big kitchen, dishwasher, large patio area, swimming pool area - perfect for a large……

“We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.”
