“This was the perfect house for our stay. There was plenty of common space, including a big kitchen with excellent provisions; tables for dining indoors and out; comfortable sofas; comfortable beds; and a beautiful view to boot. The house was very clean. The directions we received were excellent. The next time we need to stay overnight in Deltaville for a family event, we will come here! ”

“I sent my wife, her foreign guest, and the neighbor on an outing—mainly because the noise level at home had reached “incoming artillery level”.I steered them away from repetitive shopping, they enjoyed some fresh air, and I found the sound of silence.Unfortunately… they’ve returned.They loved it. ”

“Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. We did appreciate the number of hooks available……

“The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. ”

“We just returned home from the most perfect week at Gwynn's cottage! We had never been to the area but chose it mainly for the water views, access to fishing, kayaking, the private beach and wanted a relaxing week and we had that and more. Literally everything you need is here -comfy beds, all the linens and fully stocked kitchen. It's an older home but has so much charm, so many thoughtful touches including a cabinet full of books, movies and puzzles, a shed with bikes, kayaks, chairs, crab……

“This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world. ”

“We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was the perfect spot for a 3-night getaway. The views overlooking the harbor were beautiful—especially the sunsets right from the balcony. One surprise we didn’t expect was being able to rent a golf cart on the property, which made it so easy (and fun) to get to the beach, explore downtown, and sightsee around Cape Charles.A must-do: make reservations at Hook @ Harvey, the restaurant located just below the apartment. The food was incredible and made……

“Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out.”
