Beautiful, quiet location with free kayaking on the large lake around the property. High quality food in the restaurant.

Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. A special thanks to Brandon and Lindsey for making it a very memorable trip for my entire family.

Great spot. Comfortable cabin, tankless water heater, so you'll have a wonderful hot shower after a long day of adventuring, and good food in the restaurant.

Absolutely loved this place! It was a little pricey, but well worth it. It was family-owned, and the staff was so nice, It was extremely clean and the grounds were beautiful! Breakfast off the menu was included. The bed was super comfortable. Things to do include hiking, kayaking, and lawn games.

Fantastic Place to Stay in Alaska

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay with Summit Lake Lodge. The owners/family, Marty, June, Brandon & Lyndsey made us fill so much like we were at home away from home. Great breakfast, atmosphere and above all terrific customer service from all employees/staff. We highly recommend this Lodge to anyone traveling in Alaska!
