Spectacular stay

The cottage is a very quaint with all the modern conveniences. We adored the rural setting and enjoyed getting away from city life for a few days. Pontevedra is an easy 20 min drive and the beaches about 30 min drive. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience of Galician life

Our accommodation was excellent, with a roomy bedroom and lots of space in the garden to sit out on an evening. Kitchen facilities were excellent and we had no trouble using them. The showers was brilliant - powerful and lots of hot water. The surroundings were very rural and gave us a full immersion into local life with the church across the valley broadcasting services all week and the sounds of both local agricultural activity and what sounded like hunting in the forests

Tranquilidad en un bonito entorno natural.

Casa rústica bien arreglada y equipada, en finca con césped, emparrado para comer a la sombra y bonitas vistas. Tanto si buscas tranquilidad como si quieres ver la zona (preciosa naturaleza), estarás bien. Nos recibió la dueña (australiana con muy buen español) muy amablemente. Aunque no lo indica en la descripción de la casa, tiene lavadora (por si estás varios días). Solo hay que advertirte que tiene una escalera empinada para subir al dormitorio, pero con una buena barandilla. Repetiría

Ein sehr schöner Ort für Urlaub und Erholung

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und betreut, auch während des Aufenthalts bestand die Möglichkeit jederzeit mit den Vermietern in Kontakt zu treten. Die Ferienwohnung ist genauso wie im Inserat beschrieben, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung bietet viel Natur und Ruhe mit schönen Ausblick. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und konnten unseren Aufenthalt sowie Urlaub sehr genießen.

Het bestaat dus nog!

Bij het stenen kruis was links de oprit. Dat kruis deed z'n dienst in een omgeving waar onze navigatie dat niet deed. Een groene golvende vallei waar de tijd stil had gestaan. Lapjes grond werden bewerkt met de hand en sikkel. En daar mochten wij in een lieflijk Flintstone huisje, van alle gemakken en van een lekker bed voorzien van genieten. Zee vlakbij, Santiago op 45 minuten rijden. We hadden langer moeten boeken!

Ecrin de verdure et vieilles pierres

Belle restauration pour cette ancienne ferme au coeur de la campagne galicienne.Très bon accueil par Anna, qui a eu la bonne idée d'indiquer le chemin avec des photos. La maison est très bien équipée, les pièces très agréable et le jardin magnifique. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. A recommander pour ceux qui aiment l'authentique et la campagne.

Belle maison en pierre et reposante.

C'est une superbe maison en pierre et très bien équipée. Nous avons pu constaté les travaux réalisés grâce au livret disponible dans la maison. On apprécie le calme après les journées de visites dans cette belle région. L'immense jardin est reposant avec une magnifique vue sur le petit village et les montagnes. L'annonce reflète bien la maison d'Ana. Merci encore à Ana et nous recommandons cette location.

Beautiful rural escape in a perfect spot to explore Galicia.

Everything perfect and super well equipped. Nice area with beautiful walks. So many nice beaches and villages to visit are very close. Very nice owners with friendly doggies!

Allí donde la naturaleza es un sueño.

Hemos pasado unos días inolvidables en esta casa de Moraña. Anna y Roger han sido unos anfitriones perfectos y nos han facilitado direcciones cercanas de restaurantes y lugares interesantes para visitar. La casa está ubicada en plena naturaleza en un enclave privilegiado con rutas de senderismo. Desconexión y descanso asegurados.

Great introduction to Galicia

A medical emergency and some lacklustre weather cast a bit of a pall over this trip, but we really couldn’t find fault with Casita del Sur. The house is stunning, and very, very well equipped. It really had everything we needed and even a few things that we might have needed, such as a torch. It was beautifully furnished and the renovation had been done with great sensitivity. The bed was very comfortable – never a given with holiday lets – and the absolute silence at nights meant that we slept long and well. The countryside around Casita del Sur is stunning and, in this day and age, there was something magical about hearing nothing more strident than birds, insects and the occasional cow. The gardens are beautiful and well thought-out. Due to the poor weather, we only made it to the beach once, but there were plenty of other things to do within an easy drive. The local people we met couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Anna and Roger were excellent hosts – they just went about their business and we knew they were there if we had questions. That said, it was lovely chatting to them when our paths did cross!

You won't find a cooler place than this

I stayed at O Curralino (Casita del Sur, specifically) in late April 2019. It was a fantastic home base for my time in Spain. The cottage is part of a renovated farmhouse. It's like staying in a 17th century dwelling with 21st century amenities. The house sits near the middle of a classic Spanish valley with forests and farmlands on the valley floor and ancient small villages carved into parts of the valley walls. It's a beautiful setting and one could spend several lovely days just hiking around the valley and enjoying the grounds of the cottage itself. The locale feels very rural but is actually within easy driving distance of mid-sized towns -- like Morana -- and about 25 minutes from Pontevedra. Santiago de Compostela is about 45 minutes away. Beaches and parks are not far as well so it's great central location. O Curralino is owned by a lovely family who live on the grounds. I can't wait to revisit with my family.

verblijf in O Corraluna Norte

Hey, wij verbleven een zalige week in O Corraluna Norte. Het huisje voor twee personen, maar ruim bemeten. Een zalig terras overdekt door een druivelaar, een authentiek huisje zeer smaakvol ingericht. Een grote prachtige tuin temidden van de velden. Santiago De Compostela is niet veraf, een aanrader is zeker het stadje Pontevedra. Wij hebben genoten ! Koen en Chris, België
