Pearl Cottage was delightful. First, its location in Blockley is excellent. A short stroll to the famous Blockley cafe and to the Great Western Arms, all within a characterful Cotswold village well worth exploring.
The cottage was both spacious and characterful, designed and decorated extremely tastefully and attractively with modern kitchen equipment and comfortable, quality furnishings.
We were delighted with the place which proved a very good base for exploring the Northern Cotswolds (either on foot or by car). We were able to visit several of the well-known show gardens in the area: Kiftsgate, Bourton House, Sezincote and Snowshill to name just some. We almost managed to bump into a film crew at one of these venues, shooting a scene for the Father Brown TV series!
