Amazing Cotswolds charm

My wife and our adult kids stayed in this charming apartment during our visit to the Cotswolds. The apartment was in the heart of the town and made a great base from which to enjoy the area without a car.

Little Window stay.

The kitchen and bathroom were quite nice and the location is convenient to restaurants, shops & transportation. Access to the 2nd bedroom is precarious on Very narrow and uneven stairs.

The Little Window

Absolutely loved The Little Window Cottage. So central to everything including the train station. It’s a very quaint cottage with a home away from home feel. Wonderful owner very accommodating.

Moreton in Marsh Wonder

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The cottage is charming and well appointed. A lovely kitchen, and the updated bathroom is very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The location is perfect to tour the Cotswold region. Importantly the owner was kind and responsive. We recommend 100%.

First time in Moreton in Marsh

The home was cozy and the kitchen was so convenient! Very walkable to the train station, bus stops and two grocery stores (Co-Op and Aldi’s). Perfect location except for the road noise at night. We were made aware of this ahead of time and just brought ear plugs. Really lovely home!

Excellent in Every Way

Perfect location in Moreton-in-Marsh with parking right outside and easy train access. We’ll equipped with two comfortable bedrooms, large bath and kitchen. We wished we could have extended our stay. Mr. Asbury responded almost immediately to our messages and was very flexible with our check-in time.

Charming and Homey

Little Window matches it’s description and photos to a T. It’s a comfortable, lovely and livable space. It allows easy access to transportation- bus and train- and conveniences. The only mark off perfection is the street traffic, but this comes with convenient transportation. Highly recommended.

Perfect setting for a relaxing weekend

This little cottage was perfect for a weekend away, catching up with family. We parked just opposite the house and didn’t move the car all weekend. We spent the whole time just chilling in the cottage; only venturing outside for fresh air and coffees, drinks and meals. On the high street, right outside the front door, are numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs; all within a few minutes walk. The house has been done up beautifully and is so cosy, with comfy sofas and a cute little kitchen to make drinks in. Plus it’s got a lovely clean bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. Thanks for sharing such a great place. We’re already planning our return trip!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed our 3-night stay at the charming, quirky Window Cottage. The home is very nicely decorated and well-appointed and is, overall, quite comfortable. Flexible and effective climate control and plenty of on-demand hot water--very cozy for crisp autumn nights! Access was simple, instructions were clear, and the host was both proactive in his communication with us and promptly responsive to our inquiries. A few minor drawbacks for us: the mattress in the main bedroom is a little lumpy; the windows do not seal well and, therefore, a bit of noise from the busy street and outdoor seating area at the pub next door filters through; and, as is to be expected in a house of this age, the ceilings/doorways are very low and caused my 6'4" spouse a few headaches (literally)! The location is excellent if you are visiting the Cotswolds without a car--train station is a 5-minute walk, bus stop is right in front of the cottage, and the town is situated on the Monarch's Way footpath. In addition, there is an excellent grocery store, a wine shop, a cheese shop, a convenient laundry, and several good coffee/tea shops just a few minutes' walk away from the cottage. Very happy with our stay!

This property is clean and very well located. Unfortunately the weather had been cool and the cottage was cold and damp. The info sheet indicated that heat was turned off April-October. We tried to start the wall space heater but was unsuccessful. Realizing it would take hours to warm the cottage we left and checked in to a local hotel. I question whether there was internet as there was nothing indicated. We were extremely disappointed!!!

Beautiful Place, in great location

Property is beautiful, and perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds. House is well equipped with with good kitchen and bathroom and very comfy lounge area. Numerous pubs, restaurants and shops near by in lovely Moreton-In-Marsh. It is on a busy road which can be noisy first thing in the morning but we were aware of that before we arrived so not a real problem for us. Only negative points for us personally were the small beds. (4’6”) investment in something larger would make the house perfect.

Quick stop, worth the stay

Fabulous stay here. If you can, make sure to stay on a Tuesday to have opportunity to see the market, it was great. Main street was quiet at night. Owner checked in to ensure we were settled. Thank you, would definitely stay again.

Loved it!

This was a great location for us to explore the Cotswold. More info on the location would have been nice as the buildings have no numbers on them. We arrived by train and really didn’t know which way to go. The only improvement would be in the kitchen. There was no coffee as stated in listing. Also, we did prepare meals at home and would have appreciated paper towels, oven mitts and additional tea towels and wash cloths. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay

Really loved the cottage. Extremely clean and loved all the interior furniture etc. Only down points were the TV didn't work including netflix and amazon prime... Netflix kept cutting out and amazon wouldn't even load due to poor connection. We wanted to relax and watch Christmas films but we weren't able to. Also the cottage is on a really busy road but that can't be helped. After rush hour and over night it was quiet.
