“On this occasion there was an administration error and the hotel rebooked us into a more expensive high end resort hotel to compensate us. This was completely hassle free and was very much appreciated. They carried all the costs. Nice! I have stayed in this hotel previously and it is a good quality, clean, safe hotel which is near by some excellent restaurants in Umhlanga Rocks. They obviously care about customer experience. ”

“Beautiful hotel however when u check in late and have no towels, room not set up properly and hot water doesnt work efficiently it doesnt make for a great stay. However housekeeping and reception did apologise and try to rectify the issues.”

“The property was very clean and staff where good the breakfast was excellent but the coffee needs to be hotter maybe add a little hot milk to the mix The streets are unsafe to venture out at night Overall i give 5 stars for my stay ”

“Our kids loved the different pool options, slides, playground, trampoline, and mini golf. The nature reserve walk right next door offered a great opportunity for a scenic break. The two bedroom and living room was a comfortable option for 5 travelers with great ocean views. The restaurant specials and accommodations to kids particular requests were some of the best meals we had all trip. Great option to stay when traveling through Durban King Shaka International Airport.”

“地点在市中心，交通方便，风景不错，附件到处是欧洲式的旧建筑。只是酒店设施比较旧，相当怀旧，不愧是上世纪70年代的著名建筑。”

“房间里有一种无法琢磨的味道，应该是某种化学残留的味道，但具体是醛还是什么别的，不清楚。 附近没有超市，难以购买食物。 虽然离海边不远，但仍然不是很方便，因为走过去的话，有些感觉不安全。 另外，不理解为什么city lodge都没有一次性拖鞋。”

“Very old hotel, charming and quaint, its beachfront but unsafe to walķ to beach, bothered by homeless beggars and illegal sellers..parking was safe and secure at the rear. Staff was friendly, helpful and very pleasant. As my wife is disabled the first disabled room was unsuitable due to the shower . We were moved to a better equipped bathroom which improved our stay. ”
