Northern lights villa v/hottub 10 minutes to Reykjavik.

Just outside the city we have 5000 sqm plot, filled with blueberry fields, wildlife, forrest and a lake.

The house is designed by architect Kjartan Árnason at GlámaKím.

The house is one and a half floor, in total 140 square meters.

There are three big master bedrooms and two living rooms.

All of the rooms have amazing views of the beautiful nature around us.

Two geothermal swimming pools within few minutes away, as well as grocery store and restaurants.

Our neighbours have Horse renting and Quad renting so let us help get the best price and plan what kind of trip you would want to take in the nearest neighbourhood.

We get amazing star shows here and big roof window to be able to see the Northern lights and stars while you rest your head on your bed here at Blueberry hills.

We are a family of three, about to become four, and built this house for the last three years. We are very proud of it and we are looking forward to share this wonderful experience with you and your family.

It is very close to Þingvellir and highway one to the route of the golden circle.

No parties, the house and the atmosphere is perfect for families. Please pay respect to the seasonal birds here and wildlife.

La maison était super! On nous a vendu une maison avec une buanderie (donc laveuse et sécheuse), mais aucune laveuse. On nous dit aussi qu'il y a un micro onde, mais non!Je crois que vrbo ne décrit pas correctement ses propriétés. Les propriétaires sont gentils et aidants.

Amazing Property

Beautiful property with fantastic views, we saw the northern lights from the balcony while we were there!! It had everything we could have possibly needed, the host was lovely and very helpful, he responded quickly when we found we didn’t have the code to get in to ensure we weren’t stranded outside, it was a lovely place to stay and I’d certainly book again in the future

Beautiful home

The house is beautiful, well maintained, with wonderful views. I would definitely stay there again. Tip - The house is the very last house on the road after you turn in. Also, there is a clothes washer but no clothes dryer.

Beautiful spacious and airy house with great views

Just perfect for our 4 days in Iceland, especially with the hot tub and long daylight hours to enjoy the views. Easy location 15 minutes drive outside of Reykjavik, also making it easy to drive to other locations to visit. The hosts were really responsive for the access instructions, and all the house's fascilities made it feel like a very nice and clean home from home! All in all a really great place for our family to stay and enjoy.

Absolute dream stay!

When we knew we were going to Iceland we wanted to stay in a home and this property came up in our search. What a find!! It was the most relaxing, energizing, beautiful place! To the open windows blowing curtains in the breeze to the beyond comfortable beds. Walking on the heated floors in the bathroom. Cooking dinners in the kitchen some nights and playing cards with the kids, it was the perfect place to wind down after an active day out. The entire place was out of a movie and we were so sad to leave it! The host was very responsive and accommodating! The views were incredible and I think our favorite part was filling our water bottles in the morning with the freshest, coldest, pure glacier water straight from the tap. Plus the lupine and butter cups were in full bloom and such a sight to see every day. It was big enough everyone had their space and lots of room to be together too. I can’t say enough good about this property! Only about 10 minutes from Reykjavik and totally worth every penny! Do not hesitate to book this property now!!

Tolles Haus in sagenhafter Lage und sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter

Wir haben 5 tolle Tage in dem Ferienhaus verbracht und sogar an einem Abend vom Hotpot aus Polarlichter gesehen - sagenhaft. Der Vermieter war immer gut erreichbar und hat alles schnell geklärt. Das Haus ist für 5-6 Personen gut geeignet. Bei mehr Personen könnte es schon mal zu Engpässen im Bad kommen, da es nur ein Badezimmer mit Toilette gibt und kein zusätzliches separates WC. Küche hat alle Geräte, die man braucht und man hat Platz genug zum gemeinsamen Kochen und Essen. Alles in allem also sehr zu empfehlen!

Wonderful in every way.

We had the most amazing experience in Island, and Hafsteinn was very friendly and helpful. It is a really nice house, with an incredible view. The house has all you need, and is very beautiful decorated. It’s very tasteful. We were staying 4 adults, and the house was large enough for a couple more. The location of the house is great for The Golden Circle, Reykjavik and we also visited Vestmannaeyjar and Snefellsnes. We can only give our best recomendations. Thomas and Gitte
