“Location closed to Wrexham General and city center. Service are good. That must be my choice in next trip here”

“At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. However, no one did, and our concerns quickly faded. The room itself was beautiful—bright, airy, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the views were absolutely……

“We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable.”

“Close to shops, restaurants, etc. easy to find, plenty of parking, beautiful surroundings, kind and helpful staff, everywhere is clean, food is delicious.”

“Accommodation is fine. Breakfast menu is a selection of fried, unhealthy or coated in butter. Needs to be better to compete with other local providers”

“I would prefer it hotter but it was warm enough. Food was delicious, very good quality, staff extremely helpful and friendly, spa is beautiful with wide range of facilities. ”

“It's situated in a great spot in a really vibrant friendly village The rooms on the 4th floor are very hot and they had no a/c of a fan available. The very small window only partially opened, enough for flies to come in but little breeze I recommended that the hotel provide the upper floors with fans always Had a good snack at the hotel Lots of places to go for dinner and drinks nearby”

“Absolutely perfect! Stunning lodge in a stunning location”

“Room was very limited on space, but well thought out. Bed was adequate but not the most comfortable. There was only 1/2 a toilet roll supplied for a 3 night stay, no shower in the bathroom. The door to the bathroom fell off a couple of times. The balcony was nice to sit out on.”

“The location was perfect!! Right near the historic race track and city wall and a block or two from town center! Loved the ease of the keyless entry and the well appointed room and lobby...”

“Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. The only down sude was the loss of my credidit card - was is handed in to you?? Dennis Cole”
