Good over night stay, was a late arrival and early check out but room was clean and staff helpful. Would maybe like to see ability to get food/drink delivered to rooms as the bar/restaurant is in a separate building and not an option currently.

Staff were very welcoming. The room was fine and well maintained, meal at night was ok for pub grub. Breakfast was a bit of let down. Felt sorry for the single member of staff trying to do everything from seat people, serve food, refill drink station and clear tables. Give that man a raise please.

We had a great stay. The hotel was very clean, there was plenty of convenient parking, and the breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and we would happily stay here again.

Staff were very helpful, the property clean, water hot and food great. However, it is not signposted at the mini roundabout, which would be very beneficial for travellers. The only sign post showed a dead-end road.

Honestly, it was a little grubby, needs a bit of maintenance, although the room was clean. Stayed four nights and even though I asked to have my room cleaned, the bed never got changed, even when the pillow had marks on it, it was just turned over. The staff were friendly enough in the restaurant/ bar, but again it’s grubby, sticky tables, sticky floors, torn seats, not a good impression.

Room was decent enough. No staff actually in the hotel which becomes a problem when you have guests running up and down the corridors all night shouting drunk.

Trasigt fönster vred, krånglande lås till rummet, smutsiga väggar i rummet. Dålig frukost. Rena badrum, trevlig personal och helt ok middag.

The room wasn't clean, the beds were really uncomfortable. Very little amenities. No staff around. Very overpriced for such an awful room. Could have stayed at a premier in for £50 and at least it would have been clean. Would not recommend this hotel at all. We stayed with others who had other rooms and theirs had bed bugs! Luckily ours didn't. But it wasn't a clean room. Stains on the walls, urine on the toilet seat, dirty bath, dirty carpets. Just awful

I love this place, it's a gem! The staff are all incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. I was suppose to stay 3 nights but got caught-up in the London Heathrow meltdown and my connection to Glasgow was cancelled. I took a train to Motherwell the next day. I called to explain and they were very accommodating of me missing my first night. Today I stated the West Highland Way trek. The Motherwell train station is a 1 hour train ride from Milgavnie (a starting point for the West Highland Way). Motherwell turned out to be a very affordable place to stay. And the food and drink menu at their pub is awesome, they have EVERYTHING! I can't say enough good things about Raven’s Cliff. Ok, one more thing, there's a huge park Strathclyde near the hotel, I spent probably 1 1/2 walking around this beautiful park. Downtown Motherwell has a charm to it as well, not a "fancy" feel but a charming feel.
