“Il bagno indicato privato è fuori dalla stanza con sanitari vecchi, tavoletta rotta ed incollata, doccia nella vasca senza tenda e uno scaldino elettrico appoggiato su uno sgabello. La camera è discreta ma non siamo riusciti ad aprire le finestre e anche qui con uno scaldino elettrico sul comodino. ”

Au delà des suites proposées qui sont toutes très grandes et fort agréables à vivre au quotidien, le petit déjeuner est très gourmand et offre une belle découverte de la gastronomie locale. Notre hôte, Nino, a été aux petits soins durant toute la durée de notre séjour et même après ce qui fait que notre expérience a de loin dépassé ce que nous venions initialement chercher ! “The accommodations are a bit off the beaten path but worth the effort. It was a 25 minute walk to the plaza of the Duomo. The accommodations Mmmmp are modern and spotlessly clean. We had the benefit of an outside patio adjacent to the street but enclosed in a small garden. We were impressed with the quiet. They have added shutters to silence the noise on top of modern windows. It was great to return home in the evening to a quiet Catanian neighbourhood. The check in was seemless. We would highly……

“This location is in a bad area of town so it is gated. VERY difficult to find The owner is NOT on premise so calling them is useless. We got caught in traffic and construction. We were asked about what time we were arriving. We guessed 6 and arrived after 8 because we were lost. Repeatedly tried calling the owner with no answer. When we arrived we got a lecture for being late. Owner did not speak much English yet continued to ask us when what time we were leaving in Italian. There is……

We were warmly welcomed (in French!) by Alessia, who provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay: how the hotel works, the best places to visit, plus tips & tricks about the region. “Ruben è stato gentilissimo,ha atteso il nostro arrivo fino a tarda sera. Disponibile e attento . La posizione del b&b è silenziosa e tranquilla,vicinissima alla piazza. Noi ci siamo spostati a piedi per raggiungere negozietti del posto e ristoranti. Tra l'altro Nicolosi e' un luogo molto caratteristico e punto strategico per raggiungere in soli 30 minuti l'Etna per chi vuole godersi la meraviglia della montagna soprattutto quando c'è la neve,ma anche strategico per raggiungere la città di……

“Rooms are very clean and well equipped! The historic details were lovely! Host was exceptionally helpful! He recommended a couple of delicious restaurants. These restaurants weren’t tourist trap. They were full of mostly people who speak Italian. That’s the kind of place I like to go when I’m traveling. I always keep my translator handy. Each restaurant did have one person who could speak fluent English. ”
