“Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. We had a terrific dinner prepared by a French chef, Jean Claude and even went to the market in the morning with him and Don to pick out……

She had thought of everything and left us a beautiful welcome pack. he farm is a haven with the river running along the front and open views across the fields and magnificent horse chestnut trees in flower during our stay. “A l arrive gîte très propre agencement bien. Discussion avec les proprios tout à fais pars hasard visite de la bergerie (Eric et François ) très sympa. Le plus la piscine malheureusement l était fraîche. Dans un périmètre très proche de nombreux sites à visite. Marché de Riberac, les tourbières, l’église d Aube terre etc…..merci à vous deux. “A lovely property right on the river, enjoyed a spot of fishing and a nice dip in the river. The only downside was that the steps leading to the property were extremely hazardous when wet.”

“Beautiful property set in amazing grounds. Everything was very clean and so much kitchenware available. Lots of different living areas which was great for a big group. The outside bbq/seating area was covered so perfect for when the weather is not so great but you still want to be outside. Pool and tennis courts kept us very entertained. Some of the bedrooms are in outbuildings next to the main house so there were some bugs but that is to be expected for an older building in rural France! My……
